Greek yoghurt is yoghurt made in Greece.
Port is fortified wine made in Portugal.
Champagne is sparkling wine made in the region of Champagne.
Maybe the better way to describe it (and avoid arguments) is to say its a way to produce yoghurt (as opposed to style) 😉 I think greek yoghurt, as opposed to 'regular' yoghurt has a different way of straining, often resulting in higher protein content.
They don't make greek yogurt.
