Seems Umart is clearing the stock of RTX 3080 10GB. The GPU core is running cool underload around 50c. Not sure about the memory temp but replacing thermal pads shall solve the overheating issue.

Been missing the 2gb since launch ;)
Check the review and the gaming performance difference is really small. Not sure about the hashrate difference.
10GB hash is around 75 mh/s according to some youtube videos.
12GB hash is still around 62 mh/s from few youtube videos, maybe due to new driver for new cards.
What about these Phantom ones 12gb that hash 88mh ?
@[Deactivated]: phantom data sheet says 52: https://www.gainward.com/main/product/vga/pro/p01152/p01152_…
youtube shows 62.
This article anticipated between 3080 and 3080 Ti:
https://www.wepc.com/news/3080-12gb-hashrate-mining-crypto/#…
@[Deactivated]: 3080 LHR when came out only gives 48 Mhs after some tweaks now stable at 75mh/s.
Maybe 12gb can reach 88, hopefully. that's my expectation.
@[Deactivated]: i dont know how it works but if they are getting 62 now @50% then the unlock to 74% (62x1.24) = 76
but this equation doesnt work if the original 10g came out with 48 which only unlocks to (48x1.24)= 59.
But if the difference is 20% extra bandwidth compared to the 10g then n75x1.2= 90
@WT: Check these 2 videos of the attempts:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee4NtvOow5Eand comment section on this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arydkko7P58&t=6s
looks like the driver issue maybe.
It should be 88-90 expectation.
@[Deactivated]: When it reaches 88mh/s does the flux capacitor kick in?
@janoski: not as good as non-LHR flux.
Should I buy one? Or may be wait for 4000 series? :|
The 4000 series is going cost at least 50% more than this for 10-20% increased performance.
3000 price should drop further once 4000 comes out ?
Considering the supply vs demand it might even go up further when the 4000 series is not competing price wise vs performance against these.
Oh my sweet summer child…
Check 1000 series and 2000 series cards price since 3000 series come out … Common sense doesn't apply to GPU market now.
Well, that ain't great :| . Also what's with 2Gbps missing claim above? Is the memory clock toned down on this Sea Hawk unit?
There is a new 3080 with 12gb ram that is higher clocked, it gains about 5% on top of the 10gb original 3080, while the 3080ti is another 5% on top of the original 3080.
@garetz: 3080 12gb can only do 62 MH/s using the forced new driver update. No unlocker yet announced.
@[Deactivated]: im talking about fps not hash rate.
@garetz: ok, fps. then the price tag should be $1200 RRP. $2000 is mining rate.
That's not what the leaks are suggesting at all. AMD has doubled performance over the 6900xt on their flagship card and Nvidia is 70-80% over the 3090, for MSRPs of $1700/$1500 USD respectively.
But if Ethereum crashes, they'll have to massively reduce them. The same leaks before the 3080 came out also had them 70-80% over the previous gen, turned out in reality was 20-30%.
The leaks are there to hype the next gen to drive sales, they are never accurate.
@garetz: The 3080 leaks I saw were 30-40% more than the 2080 Ti, which turned out to be rather accurate.
The leaks are there to hype the next gen to drive sales, they are never accurate.
They're leaked by the engineers designing the cards. The next generation will be very different as AMD and Nvidia are now competing with each other, and AMD have completely redesigned RDNA 3 using chiplets in order to do to Nvidia what they did to Intel.
You think the 4080 will cost $3,000 and be only 10-20% faster for gaming? …. What nonsense.
It's missing 2gbs
