    My plumber and builder told me this was illegal and refused to install it, does anyone know a plumber in Sydney who might do it? I've called a few and got a bunch of NOs.

      No watermark means it may contain lead, may not have adequate backflow prevention, etc (https://bidetry.com.au/learn/dont-make-these-4-mistakes-when…). Have you compared locally certified plumbing and decided it's worth the risk? $269 for a Kogan branded one, but Kogan lists bidets from other brands that comply with Australian law:

        I'm in a house I own. I've been told plumbers are able to advise you on individual units and install if it's safe for your home, with backflow prevention and water quality maintenance.

        I'm not buying this specific unit for the reasons twocsies mentioned, was just wondering if there's a plumber who will work with me to find something that is safe for my home as I've yet to find one.

          Yes you need a backflow prevetion valve fitted on any bidet in Australia. They are readily available from any plumbing supplies shop and easy to fit.

          It's very easy to install, no plumber required. A few youtube videos will set you on the right path.

    A bunch of us bought these a few years ago. They are decent, but seem to die @ 18months to 2 years. Suddenly the water will stop flowing at any pressure. Cannot attest to this being the same model (same name) but refer to this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/539868
