Nothing against the deal but when was the last time you went to the airport to pick someone up and knew the exit time? Sure you can get a rough idea, but add in flight delays, customs, quarantine and baggage pick-up and you can add an extra hour or more.

This pre-booking site is for booking parking spots for 1 day or longer — it charges by the full day and not in hourly increments (i.e. there's no difference in price if you want to leave at 8AM or 23:59PM). Are there any extra charges if you just book a spot until 23:59PM and leave earlier, though? (Unlikely, but you never know with money grubbers like Sydney Airport/Macquarie Bank.)

      According to the FAQ (http://www.sydneyairport.com.au/go/car-parking/faqs.aspx):
      - The minimum length of stay for online parking bookings is currently 1 day or 24 hours. For information on shorter stays, please refer to http://www.sydneyairport.com.au/go/car-parking.aspx
      - Our online booking minimum stay period is 1 day or 24 hours. Therefore, if your stay is a short one, e.g. 3 hours or less, it may be cheaper in some car parks (the Domestic Multi-Storey and the International Multi-Storey) to drive up and pay an hourly rate rather than pre-book.

      • That makes much more sense if it is for long term parking. Why you would need to give an entry and exit time rather than just the dates I don't know.
