  • Game is about 10+ hours to fully complete and is a pretty good platformer.

    • -1

Doing online searches, seems like people are really into saying how many hours this game is and not any other specifics. So far as so to say no multiplayer means "50 less minutes"… Having a look at a YouTube clip of said multiplayer, I'd rather spend 50 minutes looking up into the sky

How are the on screen controls? This game was made for a console controller originally

  • Definitely worth it for a dollar. Paid full price and would again, total nostalgia trip

    • +1

Yes, but also honestly just trying to find bargains to spend my random google reward dollars on haha.

  • +5

So this is the same game which is $48 on steam? Damn not bad.

    • It's on sale on steam currently actually. Not as cheap as this but it's like $15 I think. I picked it up at launch on PC and loved it. No nostalgia for the original as never played it, but good game nonetheless.

  • Thanks OP, Not compatible with any of my devices up to Android 11? Is it Andriod 12 only?

    • +1

From my understanding it should work on Android 11. Edit : someone below did some research and it should work on 8 onwards?

  • On sale for ios as well.

Couldnt buy for android as no compatible devices…

  • +4

    $1.49 on iOS too

  • +3

Wonder what it requires that none of my devices have.

Would be a bargain if I could play it on my Shield TV

    • +2

Have searched and can't find details of why my devices aren't eligible… Google Play app won't even allow it to be purchased while on special due to devices being incompatible (states minimum requirement is Android 8 and I'm running 10)

  • +1

Android 11 and not working. Could it be just for tablets instead?

    • My Android 10 tablet not compatible

      • Dafuq? Why?

    • I'm using Android 11 and the game is working for me.

  • +2

Worked for me. S20 FE 5G. Android 11

  • Rocking a S8 on Android 9, works for my phone weirdly enough.

  • 3.9 isn't exactly highly rated…..

    • +3

      4.6 on Android

      • 5/10 on IGN "It was a good game for its time (2003)”

  • Thanks OP, runs great on the PIXEL 6

  • Got one. Thanks op

  • +2

So weird, can't be bought on a 2019 Samsung Galaxy A70, works perfectly well on a 2015 iPhone 6S Plus haha.

  • +1

Great price for a supposedly great platformer. Full controller support too!

    Thanks OP.

  • Thank you OP. Purchased.

I'm using a Note 9 with Android 10 and let me install.

In case anyone wanted the hardware requirements for Android see below:

    From: HandyGames_Official (Developer):

    https://www.reddit.com/r/BFBBRehydrated/comments/l48can/andr…

    Android System Requirements:
    * Android 8.0+ and requires at least;
    * An Exynos 8 Octa (4x Mongoose (2.3 / 2.6 GHz) / 4x Cortex-A53 (1.6 GHz) + 650 MHz Mali-T880 MP12)
    * or Snapdragon 820 (2.45 GHz quad-core Kyro + 624 MHz Adreno 530) or the equivalent / better.

To visualize this more, you could crosscheck your device benchmark on the following website:
    https://benchmarks.ul.com/compare/best-smartphones?amount=20…

To run the game smoothly, requires a score of around 2000.

can't tell if this is a pricing error. seems like an unbelievable price drop as it usually only drops as far as ~$10

    • THQNordic have been doing very heavy discounts on Switch games lately as well. 93% off Saints Row IV and Red Faction Guerilla Warfare recently

  • +2

Good price, could even cast to tv and play with controller for a bigger screen

    • Possible but would have delayed input from controller through cast.

      • Could use an adaptor such as USBC/micro USB to HDMI then

  • +1

Cheap enough to but with Google Rewards, adding to backlog.

  • Thanks good deal!

Omg … back in the day - let’s say 2005, I downloaded a SpongeBob game on PlayStation 2, on 56k dialup internet over 5 days. This took a lot of effort pausing then download and baby sitting it etc…

Finally downloaded, burnt the disk and to play it and it was stupid cooking game , where you had to make a burgers. Also it crashed after level 1.

17 years later will I finally be able To walk around bikini bottom?

    • Depends if you have $1.39

    • +1

do you have a compatible device lol

    • Yes finally download and played for a bit. The 17 year wait was worth it 🤗

  • +1

Is there any way to purchase this now if you don't currently have a compatible device but are planning on getting one soon? (I have an old Google Nexus 10 currently)

    • I would imagine that you could purchase it, and provided that you signed into Google services with the same details in your new device, you should be able to download and install it.

      • It won't let me purchase on web browser, says "no eligible devices for app install" and can't do anything further.
If i search for the game on my Nexus 10 (unsupported device) the game literally wont even show up in the results, like it's hidden from me.

        • yes, I'm seeing the same hidden behaviour. Seems to work best by going to the URL in Chrome then telling it to open in the Google Play app. See my other reply on bluestack5 for details of the steps.

          Hope this helps :)

    • Officially the answer is 'no, you can't purchase an app on Google Play while it is on special if it's incompatible with your current device'.

However, I've spent a few days figuring out a way to purchase it. This enabled me to purchase it. I haven't been able to play it yet but working on that next.

As per standard security advice, you might want to turn on two factor authentication in your google account to improve security.

      • Install bluestacks5 (requires about 5-6GB of hard drive space)
      • Open the "Settings" from the Side toolbar and under the Device tab, choose - "Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra" or similar
      • Open the "Multi-instance Manager" from the Side toolbar and then, click on "Instance"
      • Add a fresh instance of Pie (it will download files to install)
      • Stop Nougat instance
      • Start Pie instance
      • In the System Apps folder, open Chrome and go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hg.bfbb
      • Click button to "Open in App Store" and open with Google Play Services
      • Click on the green "$1.39" button to buy it for that price
  • Can anyone with the new Chromecast test if you can download this via the Play store?
