Great concept. First place that came through for me in Sydney was a charcoal chicken place though.

Yes, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connnected in the great Circle of Life.

chips are potato. Potato are vege. Vege are good.

    • +24

I remember when I was younger and I used to give my sister shit about being a vegetarian.

I think I grew out of it when I was about 12.

@canberrascooter: the leading cause of most diseases is via meat

Theres been several studies on it. Read a book instead of being a knob

That logic is about as stupid as Morrison's decision making in a pandemic.

Tell your parents to take your device off you, child.

I just had a look at a Burger Bundle at Hungry Jack's on Deliveroo. A small size Burger Bundle is $39.95 pick up in-store (or click and collect), but $59.95 (excluding delivery) using Deliveroo or Menulog. I knew that Menulog and Deliveroo marked up prices, but I did not realize the markup was this bad. Is it always this bad?

    • +3

30% is the usual markup, as you said not including delivery.

    • +2

      Stores dictate prices, not deliveroo.

      • +3

But, the stores mostly inflate prices to offset the fees set by deliveroo.

        • Yes this is a given, thanks for that ribbit-splainer.

Clearly, educating you on diversity wasn't a priority for your parents.

Get them to take your device off you, little boy.

      The adults are talking here.

They taught me the importance of science and protein and meat is important part of a health diet for a growing child.

Not some hippy left liberal propaganda

        • +7

Why do you care? There's over 7 billion of us…over 25 mil in au. Are you really going to have a sook every time you hear someone's lifestyle choices don't match yours? lol

        • +5

If your parents taught you the importance of science then please explain the anomaly of millions of healthy vegetarians (from birth) in India, China, etc, as well as the herbivorous mammals.

          • -1

@besttraveltech: Because poor people in India and China can't afford meat.

            • @canberrascooter: What their ability to afford meat have to do with it? Fact is, there are millions vegetarians and vegans who are perfectly healthy, so can you please scientifically explain how that's the case?

          • @besttraveltech: China is predominantly a meat eating society. India has a lot of vegetarians for religious reasons but still has a lot of meat eaters.

            • @lonewolf: You're correct, China and India are predominately meat eating, but they have billions of people and many religious sects, so there are still many millions of vegetarians and vegans (Jains, for example).

        • +5

"They taught me the importance of science and protein and meat is important part of a health diet".

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof that you have never ever had a clue about anything at all, ever.

        • @canberrascooter You claim your parents taught you the importance of science and protein. Your comments demonstrate you know little else and most certainly have no manners.

No one is shoving their ideals down your throat but you seem to do so to others. If you paused for a second and strained what little brain you have you'd understand that diversity means you get to eat the meat you desire. If everyone behaved as you did their would be high demand for everything you desired e.g red meat and the world would also on an unrelated point be filled with asshats.

Don't be an asshat and learn to respect others… You could even make it your new year's resolution to be a better person

    • Summer vacation boredom getting to you kid?
