There's quite a few manga comics for free on Google Play Store, at the moment. Had a quick look at a couple of them on Amazon/Kindle Store to see if they were free on multiple platforms but they're not. So far, I've found these ones for free. There might be others, so have a look around.

      I've only watched the anime, but the whole, "make out it's a gangsta situation that turns into an ordinary everyday event" schtick gets old after the first 3 episodes.

      Is it literally like this the entire time?

        The anime is basically an animated slideshow of the manga itself, so yeah, if you didn't like it you're not gonna enjoy reading it. It's a schtick I enjoy, personally.

      There's a premium feel to having them on Play Books compared to reading them on sites filled with ads.

          I'm impressed. I haven't use these manga reading sites in a while. I haven't read much manga in a while too. I recently got a new tablet that I plan to read manga on. My go to method is downloading the CBZ and CBR file and reading them using perfect Viewer.

            @Misogi Kumagawa: Mangadex is the only manga website that I know of that has no ads and it's where almost every scanlation group uploads. The downside is that it doesn't have most licensed manga so you'll have to go other places for it. Also, I highly recommend looking into tachiyomi for your tablet.

            @Misogi Kumagawa: If your using Android have a look at Tachiyomi, its an open source manga reader where you can add "sources" and use sites like mangadex or mangakalot (and a lot more) without any ads.

              @KaijuKoala: No it is not. I've tried it. For this method, the quality is so much better than what Tachiyomi has because the people creating these CBZ and CBR files use high quality image files. TBH, some of the files shared on tachiyomi probably come from where I download my manga.

        nyaa.si is my go to for quality manga, you can torrent official English licensed CBZ & CBR there. Personally I can't be bothered with the free 'read online' sites anymore, I've encountered far too many poor quality glitched scans and fan translations that don't make sense

    i don't read too many manga (watch more anime) but punpun has got to be the most depressing manga I've read in a while, it gave me an existential crisis

    Not sure about the Eng translation but the original Jap version Househusband is a funny gag comic. Recommended.
