Saw someone mention this on Whirlpool, so I decided to check it out myself. They're PC only, so they're no good for Xbox or PS3 users. I don't know how good these are sound-wise, but TDK is a good brand and $5 isn't a lot of money, so even if they're absolute rubbish, it's no big loss. They'd be more that good enough for Skype/Msn.

It's my first bargain submitted here so be nice. Please don't start a Dick Smith flame war or anything.

Edit: Turns out that Dick Smith have started their online sale a day early, so there's a whole heap of discounted games as well.

        Well I actually purchased a couple not so junk headsets which cost around $40 each, and still got full cashback. Well, they cost $5 less than this one anyway. Not just hope we all can get the order delivered.

    I think I wrongly ordered twice. The first time after checkout it showed a site problem, so I had to reorder it. Now I find two orders under my paypal account and DSE account, and both been processed. But I only got one order confirmation email for the early one from DSE. I have no idea what's going on with my second order.

        3.5mm for sure, you can use usb for extra bass or battery. Otherwise the 3.5mm will just give u an average sound quality ;)

      I would say more than 5000 orders have been placed judging by the response here and on Whirlpool, and that doesn't account for people buying up to 5 per order.

      You can hardly call that going out of stock fast.

    I dont feel that buying more than one give you an insta-broden. I bought three for three different people I know that need new headsets. One person has no job and broken headphones, another had their G35's chewed by their dog, and another is so someone will stop borrowing mine. Not broden, just a nice guy.
