Was going to say, does anyone even like these?
Fruit mince pies? I like home made ones. The majority of store-bought fruit mince pies are rubbish.
I made my own this year for the first time including pastry.
Pretty damned tasty, and will definitely do it again.
@CamM: No, made my own actually. It was based on a Delia recipe for quantities, but I changed some of the ingredients.
Finding the suet mix was the hard but the outcome got good reviews.
The real question is, are the hot cross buns out yet?
