Just saw this as part of the sale. What a great price.
Full price at JB HiFi $1249.
I've got the Fenix 6 Pro. It is an excellent watch and worth every cent for training.

Absolutely, it has many of the same features in a smaller package. Drawbacks is definitely the significantly worse battery life (7 vs 21 days), it’s not as tough, and there’s no navigation or sleep tracking.
But if you’re looking for a decent fitness watch at a good price, you can’t go wrong.
My wife had a Apple Watch 6 that she wears to work and she is looking for another smart watch that’s more dressier and round
She was looking at the Garmin Vivomove 3s $249, Vivoactive 4s $379
I just noticed for more $$ tho the Venu 2 $449 has a better screen
She has a iPhone too and I read that this Garmin watches work with it but you can’t reply to text tho.
If she’s looking for something akin to an apple watch, you’re gonna want to look elsewhere. The garmin watches don’t have touchscreens and limited “smart” (i.e smartphone second screen) capability.
They are sports/health watches with some basic smart capability, in contrast to the apple watch which is a smart watch with some basic sports/health capability.
@TheRealCJ: Any recommendations for something that’s smart and dressy
@Twisty: In a smartwatch? not a whole lot that is iphone compatible. The Samsung watches can be quite dressy, and a number of the android wear watches, but I imagine she won’t find them as useful as the apple watch when connected to an iphone.
If she’s considering a dress watch, maybe consider disconnecting and getting a traditional watch
@TheRealCJ: Ok thanks
Will the Garmin still work ok with the iPhone? I read it can get notifications etc but you can’t reply via the watch
@TheRealCJ: Garmin does make touch screen in the Venu and Venu 2 models, with the later model in Amoled screen, All models can reply texts in the pre-set but simple text fashions .( OK, I am busy etc., type of texts )
@giantbike: Good to know, thanks.
$50 extra for the Sapphire edition is worth it.
100% on this I have sapphire and glass is still in great condition. Mate who has the regular has scratched up glass… Saying that though buy screen protectors
Yes its quite durable and worth the extra money for the protection it offers. The only downside is it's very reflective and makes the watch harder to read than the non Sapphire versions.
From the interwebs it seems that if you're going to put a screen protector on it anyway, the visibility is comparable to the sapphire glass. The question is whether you want to keep replacing the screen protector when it breaks and whether the cost difference and effort justifies it.
Anyone want my Fenix 6s Pro for a decent price? Unwanted gift!
Aww really?! I love mine. Especially being about to log the sets and weight ratio at the gym. It's great in the pool too. Tracks your heart rate now when in the water. Really great battery life too. Probably charge it once a month
Be aware the leakers have already dropped the new models coming in including Fenix 7 - likely to be announced at CES in early Jan so these specials could improve once they're announced.
Garmin products seem to have decent lag with price drops after new releases. New models seem to be released at even higher price with older models still staying at old prices for a while.
(At least that's my observation with the forerunner series)
I see it as 699 and not 649. What am I missing here ?
missing coupon code, may be ?
I see price at 699 and not 649. Is the deal still on ?
missing coupon code, may be ?
Tried the coupon code but got an error message with wrong code.
Works fine for me
This is a little bit out of our price range but on this note is the Garmin Vivoactive 4S a good one?
