    2022 or 2023 delivery?

    • +1

Hi @luketechfast, I purchase my computer on 28/12 the rtx 3080 ryzen 5, when is the estimated time of delivery? I have emailed a couple of times but no response, public holiday maybe?.

      Thanks

Do you have any deals on i9 64 GB DDR5 with a very decent MB and a 1TB WD Black SSD?
It’s going to be used for office work with multiple VMs, hence the high specs. GPU is not a huge concern. 3060 would be nice to run my 2k 49” smoothly.

    • Not really our space sorry mate.

    • +1

You can have a look at Dell's new XPS range. 2 days ago you had a i9 12900k 32gb ddr5 and 6700xt for $3k after using the code

      • +1

        Is that on Dell website?

        • +3

Yes. It was the same price on their eBay store, and you get an additional 20% off. Wait for a few weeks, Dell often have 20% off.

          • @Winston100s: I saw the Alienware one. I missed the XPS I guess. Thanks for the heads up I’ll keep an eye out for the next 20%

  • I have i7 7700 and rtx 2080. Upgrade to 5600x 3070 system or 5600x 3080 system?

Significant upgrade from mine and much of a difference between 3070-3080 systems? Thanks in advance.

    • +3

3070 not worth $300 more than the 3060 ti when they are so close in performance. If you NEED performance and don't care that its like another $800, 3080. Otherwise 3060ti machine is a lot cheaper and close to 3070 performance.
All CPU's here are just fine for current gaming, difference negligible. If you are video editing or streaming as well the 5600x would be the better CPU.

      • Thanks for helping me out Creepy Woody, appreciate it. Regarding graphics cards. How much worse would I be off going to 3060ti and how much better going with 3080 from 2080.

        • +2

TBH your current system is fine. 2080 trades blows with 3060ti. Your 7700 is starting to age in modern games but still decent. I'd wait til there is a bigger leap in performance, but it's your money and I sometimes splurge on minor upgrades too so I can't say anything, just recommend :)

You'd be within average 5-10fps going from 3060ti to 3070. Not worth $300 extra of your hard earned at all, 3070 is the worst "value proposition" out of the lot.

3080 only if you are a graphics monger and NEED the absolute best performance and don't care about money, or have a 4K display and need the extra grunt for that specific purpose. Another $800 for +10-40 fps, but it is all depending on your resolution or fps aims, which I don't know. Not worth it to me, but it's not my money either.

So I'd say move up to 3080 if you feel you need the performance and got the money to splash, or wait until something with a better value for performance proposition comes along with anything else.

          • +1

@Creepy Woody: Thanks Creepy, ill take your advice and wait for maybe 3080ti and next Gen Ryzen.

          • @Creepy Woody: Any chance you could PM me as wanted to ask you a question. About a gaming pc. thanks

    • What games are you doing that the 2080 can't handle ?

      • It can handle everything, just thinking of upgrading before my system becomes more outdated and i lose sale value on it.

        • If you're mining with it when not using it, it shouldn't matter.

  • I just put an order yesterday for a 5600G/3060 system, would it be possible to cancel and upgrade to this?

  • Well done Luke! Really nice to see pre-built prices coming down gradually, I remember my son told me his mate built his own PC including only a RTX3060 mid this year and cost him $2.5k, now for the same money can get a 3080 instead!

    • Just because this deal is 2388 doesn’t mean the systems are comparable. I built my own and it costs more and is lower specced GPU, but every component is highly reviewed and bought at super discounted prices.

  • Good deals.

  • +1

do you offer pick up for locals?

    • Not at present, can’t afford close contacts with the current setup sorry

      • ah damn, thanks anyway

  • +1

Some may have a preference for AMD over Intel, I just prefer whichever is better value.

At this price a 5600G only makes sense to me over Intel if you really need integrated graphics or another nvme drive running. It's about the speed of a 3600X, much slower than a 5600X

Otherwise the 10400F deal or upgrade to 10700F (only $70 more than this 5600G deal) makes more sense to me, particularly since that motherboard is more likely to fit a pci-e WiFi card in addition to the GPU.

    • Yeah, AMD really has nothing to compete with at the low end currently, so it's not a great deal compared to Intel.

  • +1

Why would you want Intel motherboard options for a AMD system?

I'm pretty sure Intel motherboards don't work with AMD CPUs

    • +1

Damn just noticed. Must be an error, copied from a 10400f deal, as even the stock option is an intel mobo.

      @luketechfast

    • Thanks both, the options set was added down the bottom of the listing instead of replacing the Intel mobo set. Fixed and any affected orders rectified.

  • +2

What is the estimated delivery time frame for the 3060 Ti system?

  • The new cases sure look a lot better than the old ones

  • +1

    So what's better value?

just the base 3060ti computer or spending a bit more and getting the 3080.

I am thinking of just getting base 3060ti but the cpu is barely better than my 4770k

  • +1

Hi rep, I really want to order one, but I am worried about the noise. Will these fans make a lot of noise?
can I choose a different case, willing to pay extra?

    • The cases we have available are listed on the site, otherwise nothing else is available. The system won't make a huge amount of noise but if noise is a significant issue for you I could suggest perhaps purchasing silent-style fans and installing them yourself.

  • Hey when does the boxing day code end?

  • Will you put back the motherboard that was here yesterday? Gigabyte B560 Aorus Pro AX [ATX] Motherboard? It disappeared
    !

    • That was an Intel options set so not compatible with AMD - the AMD set was at the bottom and supposed to replace the Intel set.

  • Is it possible you can do a deal on the exact same build as the 5600x / rtx3080, but with a 3070 instead? The 3080 deal prices me out but I find that if a use the i5-10400F / 3070 deal, i have to upgrade the cpu to i7 and power supply etc. such that it also prices me out. If you could do a deal of 5600x/3070 with the same 750w gold PSU as the 3080 deal for like $1.9 - $2.1 then maybe I can buy.

    Completely understand if you cant

    cheers

    • Not at this stage - will look at it in the future though

  • When does the deal end? So tempting..

  • Looking at getting the i5 10400F 3060ti. Computer will be used for light editing of videos/photos and gaming (dota 2 and league). Need to get a desktop as my current desktop has died.

Can I get some help deciding on which Mobo to upgrade to with Wifi. B560 Aorus Pro or Intel Z590?

    Worth the upgrade to 32gb (2 x 16gb) RAM?

Thinking of upgrading the PSU to 750w Gold.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    • +2

You don't really need a Z motherboard to pair with the 10400, B560 is more than enough. Go for Z if you are considering overclocking with a K CPU. 16GB is more than enough for light editing, but if you are going to keep the PC for 3+ years, best to have additional Memory for future proof as I'm sure your work load will increase and having the additional memory will help.

Hi Luke, Is there gonna be another 3060 or 3060 to deal soon? I missed out on this deal so that’s why I am asking

  • +1

Hi Luke, when are you releasing another deal for RTX 3060i with newer versions of Intel processors?

  • +1

As we had hoped they were released over the weekend and are now with the courier. Standard time from them to us is 24 hours so all going well the cards are with us tomorrow so system builds and single card orders can be completed.
