Looking to buy a bbq at bunnings for $1500… how do I make the most of this deal? Is it only $5 off? Am I missing something?
where can i get Master Card ???
Bank.
i am already with ANZ bank, i was wondering, which one ?? or i have to ask them to give me master one instead of visa !!!!
ANZ doesn't do Mastercard you need to find another bank.
Citi gave me a lifetime free MC, worth a try if you don't have a card from them already
@spoddar01: I tried to link 2 Citi Mastercard debit cards and it did not work. SB said it was a problem with Citi. UP Bank, Virgin, ING, ME Bank and Commonealth DC have worked.
A couple suggestions: https://www.mebank.com.au/banking/everyday-transaction-accou… and https://up.com.au/
Don't forget the referral code if you go with Up - $5 goes to you and your referrer.
Wize issued MasterCard back in the day.
Up! Would be a good option
Commbank
Bought and tracked instantly, thanks!!
if you have CommBank, the StepPay card is a Mastercard.
Got one, thanks!!
Thanks OP, got one
Can't swap for Coles $50? Maximum denomination is $30?
Is there a reason that you cannot swap $30 and then $20?
Yeah I just swapped for Coles $30 and $20. Easy.
Sold out. Wait for a few days.
There is another Coles Grocery option.
Coles Groceries gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards, mobile phone recharges, SIM card packs, tobacco or alcohol, so it may not be ideal for the commenter.
Also got the email and got the card. Combined with another 'Spend $50 in one shop get 1000 flybuys points' offer this week equals a total of $10 cashback. Very nice.
How does a deal for $5 in value get so many up votes?
Exactly my thoughts. And I still have to spend and use gift card. Gift card systems everywhere are so dodgy online. I paid $5 on ebay using gift card which was later refunded. That money just disappeared. Merchant blames eBay, eBay has no clue where it went. eBay says talk to PayPal when PayPal was chosen only as secondary option. Had similar issues with Superchrapauto website cancel out my gift card for 3 days where I put in gift card number, didn't end up going through the checkout to finally pay but gift ca d wouldn't work for another 3 days.
Stopped using gift cards online entirely.
Perhaps stick with gift cards from Amazon - you are right the ebay gift cards are very hard to track when refunded.
The refund is put back on the same gift cards that were used to make the payment. As eBay gift cards are redeemed and linked to an Ebay account, you should see the refunded amount back on those gift cards linked to your account which is normally only visible when you're at the select payment screen. That's what I found from experience anyway.
I admit it's hard to keep track of the transactions made using per eBay gift card as their own 'check balance' screen don't show transactions. If you want to track the transactions on your end, you will need log it manually. E.g. put a sticky note on the gift card and don't chuck out that gift card until the full amount is used and you know for sure you're not getting any refunds back to the gift card.
In my case the gift card emptied after purchasing the item. And I had only one other gift card left in my account. And when the amount was refunded, the original gift card didn't reappear and the second gift card did not go up in value either.
This can be swapped to almost every other GC. When do you ever had a 10% off Amazon or 10% off bunnings? This can also stack on whatever discount/cashback as well.
But it's $5!!! Plus the effort of getting that $5 probably outweighs the $5.
For me, it takes no more than 30 secs effort. Worth it in my opinion
@Elmer Fudd: 10 sec for me. Probably less
It's easy money. Takes me 15secs to buy and convert to a Coles voucher, another 15secs at the checkout to scan and deduct off my groceries. Had like $25 worth of these this month so far? Absolutely worth an upvote.
Well people usually even buy prezzee $100 gift cards for a lower discount (pay $95). It’s still free money…
Yes that is a very popular deal.
Thanks OP. ORdered one.
Does anyone know if I can partly pay with my SB balance? Will this still track or does 100% have to be on a mastercard?
Yes just have done that and used $17 from my Cashback balance. Worked 100%!
Thanks. I've just done so too. It tracked!
Thanks. That’s better than the usual $5 off for $100 prezzee cards. I have done that about 5 times now and I always get a code again…
Shopback has made me think hard about churning my MC
Somewhere a MC ad exec is lubing up and has screenshotted your comment for their next performance review.
ShopBack is the new currency!!!
Westpac's digital mastercard should be available to use instantly after opening account.
can i pay with shopback Balance ?? because when i choose that option, the purchase slide button Appears
You might not get the $5 bonus
That’s bs. I used my balance and got it
Last time I did one of these and used my balance, it didn't track because the terms said it had to charge the full amount to my mastercard. I can't see the same wording anywhere on this deal, and according to others it does still track.
I just wish they wouldn't tick the balance by default, would have burned many and is a bit dodgy imo.
I make sure its turned off
@gotyourback any thoughts ?? can anyone ask him ?? I don't know how to tag him.
Managed to get money in mastercard and got one, missed out on last couple because no money on card

Prezzee usually works great.
