Haven't been there for a while, as they won't let you into the Cafe or Restaurant with a small bag (small day pack etc). Seems nothing bigger than small handbag allowed. (When I am in the city, I usually want to buy a few things after the meal.) It must be stored in a locker they charge for. If you don't do that, they guide you to the door. Adds to the price of meal!
Saw the ads the other day at the Treasury. Great for city workers.

You can bring in messenger bags but not backpacks. I asked the security guards and they said that backpacks looks informal so you cant bring in backpacks.
I was told it is a security issue. Was told nothing bigger than a small handbag & no bags for guys.
Isn't it more they won't let you into the casino with the bags, and you unfortunately have to pass through the casino to get to the restaurant and bars?
I was going to the Cafe, which means not entering any gambling areas, just a corridor along the front. But as there is no security check after that, it is not possible to take a bag in.
Was just warning of the added expense.
Eat at Blackjacks then do your shopping ;) Bring a few envirosax bags for your shopping later. They fold up small.
This is what I do anyway, even if I drive in - I leave all my things in my car and stuff an envirosax in my jeans back pocket or in my handbag.
I used to love going to the casino restaurants, but they became REALLY strict with the parking so now I don't bother. I don't want to have to pay $10+ for parking on top of dinner. Good deal though

not sure mate, but I think ull find better and cheaper restaurants/buffetts around Sydney than it Brissy - ur not missing out on much to be honest lol :P
