  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/673199 anyone still have their bplus codes I don't know what to use it on i already have this, i usually just stack up on heat beads

  • Does this support ipad air 3rd generation?

    • +1

If you're talking about it directly connecting to your iPad Air 3rd gen then no. This cannot be directly plugged into your iPad without a dongle.

      • Sorry not ipad air. I believe another ipad with usb c port one as well. Not sure which type. My son just broke the original apple one.
Thank you so much for the update

        • It is ipad air 4th generation.

        • +1

If your iPad has a USB-C port, it is supported. If the original cable fits in your current model Android phone or doesn't fit in your iPhone, then it's likely USB-C.

    • Does the iPad have a USB C port?

      • +1

No. Only the air, pro and mini as follows:

        • iPad mini (6th generation)
        • iPad Air (4th generation)
        • iPad Pro 11-inch (1st and 2nd generation)
        • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd and 4th generation)

Great cable. I charge my Macbook with mine, seems to be good quality and shows in the software as 100W.

    • what software do you use to see charging rate?

      • +8

        I use coconutBattery.

      • +6

If you're just wanting to check the charging rate, It's built in. Go to Applications -> Utilities -> System Information, then look for the Power section

  • In regards to the thickness of the cable ends, are they much thicker than an Apple or Samsung usb c cable end? I'm talking about the part where it says '100W' as in the photo it looks a bit more thicker than your ordinary cable end. Only because a car charger I have has its usb A socket really close to its usb C one, so there's not a whole lot of space fit anything massive between both ports.

    • It’s not thick at all, it’s the same as every other USB C charging cable. I’m not sure what you’re worried about.

    • +2

Without pulling out calipers, it looks like this is about 1mm thicker than the Apple plug

Actually $7.95 for all you penny pinchers out there

  • can this be used as a DP 1.4 cable?

    • No

    • +1

No this is a high wattage, low data rate cable.

      • Would this then be unsuitable for gaming (used with an xbox controller to connect to a pc)? I'll otherwise use it for charging only if not.

  • Can it be used with the pixel 6 and those heymix 65w gan chargers?

  • Can I connect my laptop to my screen with this?

    • +1

      No

      • If your display has USBc in why not?
Or even with a DisplayPort adapter?

  • OOS

  • Would this work on my 65w OnePlus charger? I'd assume it would as 65w is much smaller than the 100w capability of this cable but not sure if the OnePlus brick recognises a different cable and thus reduces charging watts?

    • Most likely, though YMMV.

Warp charge is a proprietary standard. It would be best to check user forums or contact OnePlus support to confirm.

    • You would need a warp cable (or some realme / Oppo equivalent) if you want the full speed. Otherwise, some models employ fast charging like the 9 pro which can do 45W PD

Looks like 8T onwards can do 45PD. So you would get that from this cable.

  • +1

Despite saying 100W, three of these cables would not charge my HP ZBook G6 laptop (specs say min 90W), where other brands of '100W' cable work on the same charger. If you do need the full 100 (or close to), I'd look elsewhere.

  • Cheers op got one for my Kogan 68w gan charger hopefully it doesn't catch fire lol

  • Does anyone know if this would support the oppo super vooc charging systems? Theyre 65w but it's a short proper Oppo cable that allows the super fast charging times. Wondering if because this is rated 100w it will work or it needs a proprietary chip in the Oppo to work to the super vooc speeeds of charging?

    • No. This is a USB-C to USB-C cable. Super VOOC uses an A to C cable

  • Has anyone received theirs yet?

    • still waiting mine. status says paid only.

  • Thx for update @wiltonson. I can't find my invoice or login credentials so can't check. Just know it's been a while.

  • Still waiting !! these guys are even more slow than Kogan before Xmas and I thought that was bad…

    Still only showing as paid..

  • We are sorry for the delay as our stock will come late.

Your order will be dispatched on around this Friday. Email notification will be sent to you once the order is dispatched.

Absolutely piss poor of a company

  • Thank you for update. I don't mind delay as long as there is communication.

  • Picked up one of these in a previous sale and been using it with my MBP 96w charger, the cable worked fine initially but stopped working after a few days :( . Might be worth shelling out some more money and buying a better brand.

  • Just received mine today in VIC.

  • Anyone else still waiting for Theirs? Supposedly shipped on 18/1 with no tracking number

    No dice

  • Got mine a few days ago.

  • Still waiting, 38 days later…
