Saw these down from $79. Even at 79 they’re probably a decent buy for a branded soundbar.

  I had a Philips soundbar (different model). It went in standby mode automatically every 2-3mins if not used. It won’t turn on again unless use remote manually. I couldn’t switch off the standby function either. Philips says this is to comply EU energy standards. Okay, fine, landfill then.

    Sounds like a CEC issue. Probably incompatible device.
