[NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD] Elyse Cot $414.99 (Was $699.99), Orthopedic Mattress $199.99 (Was $299.99) and More + Delivery @ Tasman Eco

20

Hi all,

Boxing day sale/New Year sale on at Tasman Eco. We specialise in baby furniture, and have been in this space for 30 years recently moving into direct to customer. As usual I would like to disclose this is a family run business and my wife and I work here. It will run into the first week of 2022 unless competitors hold their sales for longer. Rather than making two deals I have grouped them into one.

Shipping is free for all orders over $500. We currently only ship to VIC, NSW, ACT and QLD. If you live outside these areas please contact us either on Ozbargain or through the contact us page and we can see how we can help!

Some examples of the deals:

There are more across the website - some products have run out of stock, I have tried to push them down in the display. Also so you all know the furniture packages are marked as a savings but don't feel rushed to buy these, they are always that price for bundling:)

Reach out with any questions or future deals you want to see!

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2021

  • An orthopaedic mattress for a baby?

What’s next - age appropriate whiskey tumblers?

    • Don't be silly. They'd have the whisky stones built inside to act like a toy rattle.

  • I'm actually looking for a cot mattress for my baby, what makes your product better than others? Genuine question

    • Going to be as honest as I can here but be mindful of my natural bias to our company.

So first thing is the type of mattress (this is across all companies. You will find the following generally

They will all have different names depending on fad words/marketing. (memory foam, latex foam, cool foam etc…)
      - Foam mattress: Pretty much as the title says, foam base with a cover (some will be removable some won't). Cheapest kind. Can be used on both sides.
      - Essential/premium Innerspring: Innerspring base, can be used on either side and comes with a removable cover. This tends to be better than foam for airflow. The premium has a better cover and slightly better springs
      - Orthopaedic innerspring: (as the user said above this is very much just marketing terms): This is a better mattress due to the springs being individual pocket springs. It also comes with a latex and foam topper to take away from the pressure of the springs. We use a thin layer to avoid heat retention

So why us over other companies

      • we are the manufacturer now selling direct to public. We used to only sell to retailers. This means you can get the product slighter cheaper most the time
      • buying directly from us means you deal directly with us if there is ever an issue
      • our quality control process. So as I said above pretty much a lot of companies can produce the above mattresses, the difference is the amount of time we have spent in our factories quality control. This is a natural evolution that has come about from being in the industry for so long.
      • An example of the above, which we should promote more, our CEO (my father in law) helped write the Australian Standards for a lot of baby products. He did the cots for example (I don't want to say mattresses because I need to check that one), and he has asked to help develop the bassinet ones next year

Anyway hope the above helps. Understand how stressful buying furniture is in general and then add to fact you're buying it for your baby.

  • does the annika cot have a rail that slides up/down

    • It doesn't - the cots you would be looking at that have it are
the ones such as Zaria, Sofia, Elba, Julian and Bella (top of my head) - they will say this in the description: "Featuring our ‘Safety-Slide’ drop mechanism, one of the side panels is made for you to use with ease."

Really good question because we should introduce this as a filter - i'll get onto this :)
