  Wouldn’t buy from this brand. They just copy other brands’ designs which the OP won’t address when raised in previous posts. Compare their Holy Grail bag to the Givenchy Antigona.

      Our product silhouettes, dimensions, shapes & sizes etc. are all unique.

      If they’re unique like you claim, why does the Holy Grail look like a rip off the Givenchy Antigona? Why does the Timeless Crossbody look like the Marc Jacobs Snapshot? Why do your wallets look like Bellroy’s?

        Let me try to answer the above questions. That said, one would also need to understand our design philosophy below as a start.

        Our Design Philosophy:

        Karakoram2 is inspired by the 2nd highest mountain in the world named K2.
        We also take inspiration from the geometric lines of the mighty mountain i.e. the signature triangular shape (this is also the basis of our logo).

        The Logo Design
        Our Story

        The triangular shape is incorporated in all our products in some form or size (mostly it is in the form of an inverted triangle).
        Examples below,

        So the triangular shape is a design detail that is incorporated in all our products.

        Now to answer your questions: (based on a couple of hours of research on the bags mentioned)

        • Why the resemblance to Givenchy Antigona?

        The Antigona comes in so many different sizes and designs i.e. large, XL etc. it was a bit difficult to know which one was being referenced here. For the sake of comparison we take the Antigona Small.

        The commonality is that the top zip angles downwards at ends.
        Size (H x W x D): Antigona (9.5" x 12.5" x 6.5") Vs. Holy Grail (8" x 8" x 4") - i.e. not only different dimensions but also different aspect ratios/shape.
        Shape: the Antigona has a reverse funnel design i.e. the base is wider and top is narrower, Holy grail has a full square design i.e. base and top are the same i.e. square. The leather handle base shape is hexagonal on Antigona Vs. triangular on Holy Grail.
        Furthermore, Holy Grail has base metal studs, an adjustable strap and internal pockets which are unique.

        • Why the resemblance to Marc Jacobs Snapshot?
          The only thing I can see common is that both are double zip camera bags (a quick google search would bring up hundreds of designs from different brands with double zips)

          Size (H x W x D): Snapshot (11cm x 19cm x 6.5cm) Vs. Timeless (14cm x 20cm x 6.3cm) - i.e. different dimensions and aspect ratio/shape.
          Shape: the Snapshot has a big metal logo in the middle, a nylon like strap and an external pocket at the back. Timeless has our signature triangle, a full grain leather strap and no external pockets. Furthermore, Timeless has a unique internal pocket design.

        • Why the resemblance to Bellroy?
          Struggling to see which wallet is being compared here.
          Bellroy isn't the only slim wallet brand. We offer money clips, metal card holders and two pull tabs bi-fold wallets.
          These are not offered by the above brand.

        At the end of the day, a handbag is a handbag and a wallet is a wallet. There will be resemblance between any two products of the same category but there will also be differences. Just as all cars have similarities and differences. Just as all laptops have a keyboard and a screen. Just as most watches are round, Just as most monitors are rectangular.

        • Is a Mazda Mx-5 a copy of Porsche Boxter because they are both two door convertibles.
        • Is Suzuki Jimny a copy of G-Wagon? (Yes there are many similarities)
        • Is an S-21 Ultra a copy of iPhone because they have a candy bar form factor? and both have multiple cameras?
        • Is Witcher a copy of Game of Thrones because they are both set in a fantasy world and have monsters/creatures?

        What makes two smart phones different? what makes two cars different? what makes two humans or two cats different?
        There are a lot of similarities in all the above, so where is the line to say one is an imitation of another or not?

        To summarise, I will say the same. We have spent countless days/nights designing our own products.
        There have been design prototypes, refinements, usage tests and durability tests to reach to the finished products you see on our website.
        All our designs are made in house in Sydney, we proudly stand behind our products and back them up with a 2 year warranty.

  I have the Slim Line wallet and have been using it for more than 3 years now. I like it. I dont carry cash and there is a money clip to hold cash if needed. The wallet can hold all my credit cards, office building pass, myki etc, total 10 cards. I cannot justify the high price of Bellroy. I think with this price point, the quality is good.

  I bought the Sublime wallet a few years ago and have been really happy with it. It simple yet clever design, means it fits all the cards I need neatly and the leather used seems to be better quality than many other $50 wallets I have bought in the past.

  Don't know why some here are carrying on about designs being copied from others- normally its the other way around with anything Aussie designed and made - our designs and copyrights are ignored by others and backwards engineered by those who make inferior copycat products.
