I've got a non-DC vornado, it's noisy as…but i think it's mainly the air noise, not so much the motor, that is loud.

Does anyone have any experience with these DC versions?

Love my 633DC energy smart Vornado. Whisper quiet under 50% power and hauls ass above 80% power. Occasionally they go down to $170-190 on Amazon.

Tried to get a 633DC from GG in WA and was told i need a commercial account before they can price match it for me.
