      Sound quality is better on this, but noise cancelling is better on the other one.

          @Spennyrich: I have an older version of the WHH910Ns (hear.2) and the 1000XM4s

          Although the hear.2 is a different chassis to the WHH910N, I found the clamping force for the hear.2 lighter than the 1000XM4s, so it was a more comfortable experience.

          Besides that, the weight is very similar:

          WHH910N = 251 grams
          1000XM4 = 254 grams

          So similar on that front.

          Headphone pads on the WHH910N also look deeper than the 1000XM4s

    Honestly, AKG are killing it in this space, but I've not compared the Sony ANC offering here to theirs.

    AKG N700NC M2 for around $100-$120 for tonally balanced basic ANC, and then the AKG K371 for $160-$200 for a great closed back.

        No: the N700NC M2 is a bluetooth headphone, the K371 is wired just as the MDR-AM12 is.

    Based on tonality and house sound alone, you're probably going to be happier with the Sennheiser.

    Also check out the AKG N700NC M2.
