Just looking through some old deals and this SSD is back on special from the UK this time.
It's not as cheap as last month but still a good price for one of the fastest drives available.

I'll indulge you…..PS5 compatible? Need a heatsink? This vs Samsung 980 Pro?
Ps5 compatible - yes
Need a heatsink - yes (I recommend the Sabrent Heatsink/Cover)
This vs 980 pro - Mark Cerny, PS5 architect got this one.
Yes Ps5 compatible, yes needs a heatsink. This is the drive recommended by Mark Cerny.
Can someone advise on a decent performance well priced case for this?
I have this one in my cart, was recommended from a heatsink shootout on youtube, made for ps5. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09CD4WQJP/ref=ox_sc_ac…
Cheers, looks good.
I was looking for a case to make it into a portable hdd though… any ideas?
I've got this one but the drive will be limited to about ~1,000MB/s. If you want one just for that get a much cheaper drive.
Spend $226 on this or just delete the PS5 games that I’m not playing…🤔
Or migrate it to external HDD?
Yep, I’ve been doing that too…but how many games are people keeping on their ps5 before you delete them? And should you be finishing those games first before you buy a new one instead of hoarding games? 😅
There are games that you don't "finish"..
Sport games like Fifa, 2k, NHL, MLB are taking up about 300gb+ for me atm.
Online multiplayer games like COD, BF, Rocketleague etc are also around 200-300+ especially if keeping Warzone.
If someone has those games and likes to play them on rotation, it may be inconvenient to download and delete SP games, especially if on lower download speeds.
However, it's not currently a 'need' for the majority.
@softwhite: That’s a lot of sports games…maybe join a gym instead? 😆
@ne-us: does vr gym count? 🤣
@softwhite: I heard PSVR is good for vr p@rn…it should help burn a few calories. 😆
@softwhite: Some VR sport do involve you moving your body instead of just exercising your fingers on a gamepad.
You are just being sensible. A lot of OzBargain members just want to keep buying more SSD deals to add to their storage XD
What was the all time lowest price for this?
Pretty sure last month's deal at $435.41 was an all time low for the 2tb.
Wow great price!
… to buy now or hold out 🤔
This or fatty dove ?
If purchase SSD through Amazon AU, but item sold by Amazon UK
Will WD and Seagate still honour the warranty in Australia?
Amazon will still honour the warranty as it's sold by them. I believe it's unlikely for the manufacturer to honour it, just my thoughts.
Amazon is very good with returns/warranties though so I went for it last month with black friday (216, 1tb)
Any deals on ps5 SSD"s ?
My recent amazon delivery(ps5 ssd) came with empty parcel, nothing inside
Are you asking for free bloatware pre-installed in the SSD?
In before the obligatory posts on PS5-compatibility and need for heatsink…
