$29.97 was enough for me to pull the trigger. Expect eleventeen people to mention it has/had bugs and they will buy it once it's on sale for under $3….
Stay classy gang!
Props to Dealbot for flagging the $15 off deal.

"It was still pretty ok day 1 once you got over glitches, crashes and an ultimately disappointing ending.."
A metaphor for life?
I’m low key considering rq and re-roll character. I messed this one up badly already
The two endings I got were really good iMO
I was probably lucky, playing day 1 and didn't see a single glitch or crash. Performance is meh though. I reloaded a few times to run through all endings, the hidden ending is pretty satisfying IMO.
Yeah I had the same experience, bug-free at launch and I put probably 60+ hours into it. Thoroughly enjoyed the game.
Fun game, worth playing on Geforce now for smoother graphics. Had a lot of fun.
Isn't that one of the games they've capped to 45fps on the service now?
got it for $25 but it was for GOG platform wonder if Epic would have been better
I feel GOG is the better platform since you get the games DRM free and don’t need to run a client.
The game was 50% off during sale lol .
Currently having a great time of it. I'd definitely recommend downloading the bladerunner 2077 and constant rain mod as I feel it gives the game that gritty feel it needs.
Doesn't that make you always wet? Gun will jam
Waiting for $10
And even then..
Going through this game at the moment, gave up last year due to all the bugs. It's still buggy but nowhere near as bad as launch, haven't come across much game breaking stuff yet. The shooting feels awful, but the game isn't bad. Some good main and side missions, and Night City itself is incredible. Hope they continue to improve with patches and story DLC in the future.
not buying, has bugs. will buy it once it's on sale for under $3…
That's going to be quite a list for you, what with the buggy mess that these games are, from this year alone:
Biomutant
Battlefield 2042
Back 4 Blood
Diablo 2 Resurrected
and of course, hahahahahahahaha, the worst of them all
GTA Trilogy
I admire your stance of not paying for games with bugs, but do you get to play any games ?
It was a joke referring to OP's description but I don't think that i've played a single new 2021 game this year.
I've played 600 hours of Half-Life: Alyx which is probably the newest game that I have played.
Mainly just playing CS/vr games recently, games in the past few years have been very doo doo.
Did find my old copy of Paper Mario TTYD so did a playthrough of that recently.
Yeah, fair enough mate. The joke obviously sailed right over my head.
I know you're kidding but your user name makes it even funnier
It's $28 at ebgames now, gog version though.
eh, after all the freebies epic has given me I rather chuck them a bone.
it was $26ish at JBHIFI couple of weeks ago, GOG version
Shame I missed that one and no EB c&c near me. Might wait for a similarly deep sale on GoG.
Game has bugs, waiting for under $3!
Waiting for boxing day specials then I'll grab it
eleventeen people
Haven't heard this before
One more than tenteen and one less than twelveteen….
Still about $31.97 too much IMO
Edgy.
Bug fixes won't fix up poor design and lacking content.
Wait for GOTY special ultra edition in 18+ months, they might have ironed out the stupid stuff.
Do you think Keanu is disappointed
He's never played the game and has been paid why would he ?
Just finished this on PS4 Pro - I really enjoyed it! Felt there was plenty to do, the story was good, the side missions were engaging and full of narrative (just like Witcher 3), and I really liked the gameplay and build options. I did experience the occasional bug but nothing game-breaking, and I hear it's much better in this respect and general performance on PC, so would definitely recommend!
this.. has nothing on witcher 3. The side missions were mostly garbage fillers you find on MMORPG.
This is not a terrible game by itself, but it was overhyped and sold as "like witcher 3, but cyberpunk" and that's just objectively not true.
This is an 'okay' game at best.
To take a look at the kind of effort put into witcher 3 that gamers are still discovering new things years after its launch

I said the side missions (eg. Judy, Kerry, Panam) were "engaging and full of narrative" which is how I found the Witcher's. I didn't say the games as a whole are the same (although I did find a bunch of other similarities too).
I'd say whether CP is like W3 is very much subjective as it depends on what things you're comparing. The mission structure - main quests plus meaty side missions and open world jobs/tasks, and a story that changes based on the decisions you make, are very much comparable for example.
Whether they are of the same quality and have the same substance though, yeh that's probably more objective.
Bought release day and have played 15minutes….
Synthetik 1 though - my goto along with Rust
Dang I want $30 on steam…
Pretty good price, given GOG has it for 50% off at $44, and CD Keys has the GOG version for $27.
For those who haven't played the game, it's pretty good and has a decent enough storyline with several endings, but you want to make sure you have decent enough hardware to run the game.
It can be said that CDPRs ambition was greater than it's grasp, and certainly did muck up the launch. That said, they've remained committed to the game and have released several patches since, so on decent specced PC at least, the game is quite stable. Fairly decent reports from XB5 as well.
After 350+ hours, I haven't come across a single game breaking bug, but like any game, there's a number of bugs still present and some are hilarious, if you don't take your games too seriously.
One of the more curious things about this game is the amount of irrational hate that it still attracts, a year after launch.
Typically, the haters fall into one of three camps
The first two points are legitimate, insomuch CDPR should not have released the game in the state it was, and should have made the hardware specs higher.
Since then, they've done quite a bit to fix the existing game model, with free DLC to come out soon.
The third point is just internet idiots
Just bear that in mind when making your purchasing decision
What game does not have bugs? I don't have this or don't want it… I guess haters will hate.
so… dont have this, dont want it, and never played it. so a comment completely in ignorance?
You're the target demographic of half finished software in the future!
lol… Truthfully this game convinced me buy a new computer and I played it with not many warts and all from day one….. haters will hate.
Im about 10 hours into this game and loving it. Great story and game. Just started it 10 days ago.
The game is loving you too
Yeah I don’t think it’s fun without the bugs tbh. Seriously I had a blast playing it because it was so messed up. Ridiculous physics, random npcs falling from the sky etc
I know Keanu kept telling me I'm beautiful and then his face fell off
So I told him he was beautiful and it opened up a secret cow level…
No wait that was diablo
This game has/had bugs and i think I'll only buy it once it goes on sale for under $3
isn't this available on Amazon for $28 - how is this a deal?
Because the PC version on Amazon is $59. You were looking at the Xbox one / PS4 version for $25-28
Nah it’s worth a go for $30 especially after patches. It was still pretty ok day 1 once you got over glitches, crashes and an ultimately disappointing ending..
