    Very fun game - do you know if they player patch has the ability to turn off the enemy fleet scaling?

    Edit: Price is $35 for me and can't get code to work.

      Definitely try the link instead of the code then! It should ask if you want to auto apply it to your account.

        Grrr - can't get it to work. I click the "Go to Deal" button and it takes me to a GoG Redeem Code screen. I enter 2BUCKHOMEWORLD and get error "Code not found". Any suggestions?

    no brainer buy for this game - excellent 3D strategy game with some mods that will extend the shelf life after finishing the campaign.

    Brilliant games. It's a shame though that it doesn't include Homeworld cataclysm / emergence (shame on Blizzard for that) due to nobody preserving the original source code.

        Cataclysm / Emergence needs a remaster. Space horror theme in a rts is pretty unique.

        Also hive frigates were awesome.

        Not with GOG, I've been buying in Rubles for years, I wouldn't do it with Steam but GOG is a platform where you can install these games without buying them in the first place.

    This is one of those games I played back when the original was out but never got into. For this price it might be worth giving the remastered edition a go….

      Same game + better graphics, higher resolution, and polish (after patches).

      The very first Homeworld while excellent, had a clunky intereface, this uses an updated version of the Homeworld 2 interface.

    FWIW this deal is still active until 27 Dec 2:59 PM (I presume AEDT but could be wrong) — successfully redeemed for $1.75 USD ~2.53 AUD. Was clearing some open tabs when I rediscovered this deal.
