Kid (and Adult) Safe Knives

How it Works - KiddiKutter features a child friendly design with bright colours and no sharp edges. Even though there are no sharp edges, your KiddiKutter is able to cut through everything from a tomato to a steak with ease. It’s able to do this by using rounded teeth and an easy sawing motion. This makes it very easy for your budding chefs to make their own lunches and creations whenever they like without worrying about accidents.

Why KiddiKutter - KiddiKutter come with a food-grade nonstick coating and a BPA free easy grip handle. You can pick from eight bold and bright colours that your kids will love including blue, green, pink, orange, purple, dusty pink, charcoal and red. Our products are 18 centimetres long, and this makes them perfect for little hands to grip and use. They come with extensive testing to help ensure that they’re safe for your children to use, and they have passed Australian, European, French, German and US safety testing.

  • Cool product.

    But slight recommendation for website.

Maybe it's just because I'm on phone but that page you link to is so long because you've got each colour knife as a seperate item.

Be much easier to navigate if it was say 'Knives' and 'Aprons' and then you choose your colour/design on the next page.

I thought at first maybe it was just a homemade Shopify site which would explain it but then I saw it's made by an actual web designer.

You'll likely notice increase in sale of some of your slower moving colours if you do what I said.

Just realised OP not associated with website making my website feedback useless haha

We bought these for the kids and one of our toddlers has taken a real liking to raiding the fridge / pantry for apples, banans, onions, oranges, potatoes, etc. and will happily dice them into dust-sized particles haha
They are super effective though and completely safe - strongly recommended.

    • Can these be used to cut open delivery packages?

      • They're not the best for it, they work about as well as a blunt (car) key against plastic packaging tape - they do ok with the amazon cardboard / string tape though!

I was expecting that sentence to end: "has taken a real liking to knives"

Ah good. Children need early adoption of knives to stay competitive in our streets

    • And school.

These are also great for kids to safely cut cardboard, when the time comes to make robot costumes. Great to support a neat local company, and keep all your kids' fingers intact!
Another option if you're into kids and cardboard is Melbourne-based Makedo

  • …or…teach your kids how to safely use a proper knife at an appropriate age.

  • I got one of these, and I can safely say that it’s probably the most useless knife ever. If you want you child to use a safe knife, just give them a butter knife.
