Where Have BP Discount Gift Cards Gone?

Hi there.

Went to buy some discount BP gift cards today on Suncorp and they’ve disappeared. And can’t find on the wiki either. Where have they gone?

        They are just changing to a new benefits program. will be a couple of months gap though, hopefully the new one is still okay

    It could be that Suncorp Benefits ran out of BP physical gift cards recently and decided they would not restock due to the impending closure of Suncorp Benefits.

    It could also be that BP decided it was not worth selling discounted gift cards anymore and pulled the plug on their offering on Suncorp Benefits, which happened to coincide with Suncorp Benefits winding down.

    No one will really know (unless they’re working for BP or Suncorp, and I don’t work for either company!)

    It was handy. Yes saw the program wrapping up. Sounded like a lot of marketing spiel for “getting more crappy” on that link above.

    Merged from No More Discounted Suncorp BP Fuel Giftcards

    Seems like Suncorp Rewards app has removed the 5% off BP giftcards plus on my app seems like the 5% off Ampol cards are ‘out of stock’.

    Does anyone know some options for getting discounted fuel cards, especially BP?

      FYI Suncorp Benefits have not stocked 4% off BP physical gift cards for at least six or seven weeks.

      If you’re looking for discounted gift card for other service stations, I suggest you refer to both:

      • The fuel discounts page I put together last week, so you know which service stations accept gift cards (and other sorts of discounts), and

      • The discounted gift card page, so you know how much of a discount you can get on said gift cards.

      In summary (and off the top of my head), your options include:

      • AmpolCash Digital - redeemable at participating Ampol / Caltex service stations
      • EG / Caltex Woolworths or WISH - redeemable at participating EG / Caltex Woolworths service stations
      • United Petroleum - redeemable at participating United service stations, but getting access to discounted United gift cards is very difficult

      Having said that, are you really getting cheaper fuel when opting to use discounted gift cards at a service station, when there may be a cheaper service station in the area? I’ll leave it to you to work that out, because I don’t know where you live!

      NRMA Blue Members get a Fuel Discount of 5c Premium/3c Regular at participating Ampol or Caltex.
