  • Slight tangent, but has anyone that owns the PS4 version had issues upgrading to the PS5 version? It should be a free upgrade but I don't get the option for my physical disc version. It just gives me a "Learn More" button in the store.

Make sure the region of your disc is the same as the PlayStation account on which you are trying to upgrade to the PS5 version. Check the region number on the back of your box. For example, if your disc is from the UK (region 2), then you should create a UK account and you will be able to redeem the free upgrade. Then you can go back to your main account to play the game.

      • I was led to believe that UK copies count as the same region as AU?

Reason being, I bought this title from Amazon UK and I could install the PS5 update for it without me needing to fiddle around with my AU account.

Then again, haven't purchased any other titles from Amazon UK so I wouldn't know if this experience was just an outlier.

      • Are you sure? I have an au psn and purchased my physical copy from uk and it worked no issues.

      • +1

Nope, I tried this by making a UK account (bought the UK version) and had the same issue.

I've only found two other people on the internet that have experienced the same issue and both are within the last week. I believe something has changed that has disabled the free upgrade.

This is the game I can play with my non gamer wife?
    Or is there another one?

    • +3

Yes, you can. Controls are pretty easy. My partner had trouble to align the directions at first, but she got used to it.

      • Will get it then if that's the case!

    • +1

the game's been sitting there for over 2 months after my wife constantly dead at the 3rd boss fight.

I had to restart and play the whole thing with my mate via game pass where this game is included.

      • +1

I feel this. My partner quit the game on me half way through. Now I have to talk my friend into restarting it with me.

    • +1

It helps if they're familiar with the twin stick movement/camera style controls. My partner isn't and got quite frustrated so we gave up. There are some assist settings but I don't know if they really helped.

    • +2

Yeah Overcooked is a good option.

Might want to invite a divorce lawyer to play too though.

Amazing experience. This player's choice for 2021.

    • This is the only game that made me feel like doing good for the world and passing great message was their primary focus

  • +1

Couldn't recommend this game enough. Recommendations for similar games to this from anyone?

    • +2

The developer's previous game was A Way Out which was about two criminals who escape from prison. Obviously a more mature theme.

      • Game got kind of boring after a while for my brother and I. Just a slow start, YMMV.

      • I finished a way out with my 4 year old. Wasn’t expecting to see dong in the opening scene.

  • +4

This is also on EA Play, so subscribing for a month (especially when they do their $1 promotion) is something to consider.

    • Yeah, and if you are looking for some more co op EA play also has A Way Out which is absolutely fantastic. If you aren't looking to keep or replay the games 1month of EA play will set you back $6.95.

      • A Way Out

Yes awesome game. Same developer as It Takes Two

  • Great message, gameplay, graphics all top notch. Puzzles and how good is the devs imagination is what surprised me the most. Worth every cent even at full price

  • +3

I have a feeling this will win game of the year in a few hours.
