I got two from last deal but fast charging doesn't support. Useless…

    • +5

There’s different types of fast charging, this one supports one called Power Delivery.

    • +1

Fast charging on USB C only.

    • +1

It fully charges my phone (which supports 15 W max) in less than a hour when using USB-C port.

  • -3

30W total output is too low.

    • +14

For 11 dollars delivered? Cmon, readjust your expectations a little!

      • +5

        It is $5.99.

        • Ah, 6 bucks! Even better! I was looking at the 2 in 1.

  • +2

I couldn't think of anything worse than having a battery incorporated into a wall charger. Most people are going to leave this permanently in their wall. Where the battery is literally just waste. And an extra point of failure/hazard.

    • +5

      Then don't buy the 2 in 1

      • +7

I used them for my Dafang smart camera, in case there is a power outage.
Edit: sorry, replied to the wrong person.

        • Does the 2in1 constantly charging the powerbank gets hot easily?

    • +2

There are things called UPS, good for USB powered security cams, travel routers, raspberry pi setups.

      • +1

Exactly!! Absolutely wonderful for small petcams etc if you don't want to miss any footage during power dropouts when a burglar flicks your switches and comes in whilst tripping over your little dog ..

I got a few for this purpose!

  • Thanks OP, bought 1 of each and used some Kogan credit which makes it even better.

  • +1

Does it support fast charging for iphone 13?

  • Is it safe 2 in 1 Charger with PD ?

  • Got one, Thanks OP

  • +3
  • Will these fast charge my Samsung A51 which supports up to 15w? Seems like they both would…?

  • is this a bad idea esp, if the battery is faulty?

  • -8

Misleading advert pic. 30W is not enough to charge a laptop, especially if its only 18W max USB-C (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A).

Minimum for laptop usb c charging is 45w.

    • +4

      I think you are misunderstanding.

      • -1

How? Care to explain? The pic clearly shows its "charging" some sort of laptop device.

        • +1

It is charging my daughter's ThinkPad L13 Yoga, but is very slow. It will take 50 minutes from 80% to be full.

          • -2

@jimojr: This one in particular or an actual 30W charger? Because this is actually a 18w charger.

            • @mrvaluepack: I don't know, it is 4-Port 30W one that I bought last month.

              • -1

@jimojr: So its not this one. This one is a 18w charger but total power across 4 ports is 30w.

    • My laptop takes 18W charging. It does not charge the laptop but it stops draining the battery.

Also, Macbook air M1 model needs only 30W type C charger.

      • -1

Which laptop do you have that takes 18W usb c charge? Stops draining if you are leaving it idle maybe, but anything else even light usage I bet it will drain as per normal.

So it can only "charge" apple laptops with M1 chips? This is not a 30w USB-C charger. Its only 18W max USB C.

        • There are probably non-Apple laptops that can use <30W, but I can't think of any…

          • @McFly: My dell xps 13 takes 27w while on and 18w when off

            • +1

@Butt Scratcher: Interesting. My son's Latitude 5000 "won't get out of bed" for less than 65W.

              • @McFly: It definitely depends on the laptop. Dell xps 13 is a much lower powered laptop compared to most.

I forgot to mention that voltage is also very important. Not all 27w chargers/power banks will work on my laptop.

Something like this i found to be surprisingly useful because of the amount of voltages it supports. Works on my laptop and 25w super fast charging on my note 10

        • Surface Laptop 3.

Using Chrome and todoist does not drain my battery.

        • My dell happily charges on my phone 18w charger. I also have a 100w charger which I never use because the 18w covers me lol

  • How would this compare to the Blitzwolf one i just ordered?

    link: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/669155

    • +1

BW has 2W more on the C port, 2 less A ports, and a plug attached.
Main difference would be PPS - Kogan doesn't say theirs has that, so it probably doesn't.

      • Thanks I apologize for lack of knowledge in this area. What is PPS?

So I bought the blitzwolf charger for my Samsung Galaxy A51, and that should be better / or as good? Just wondering if I should also get one of these. Thanks again.

        • A51 is only 15W max so it will fast charge with pretty much any USB-C charger.

  • +3

Just FYI this is only 18watts from the usb-c port. It's 30watts total across all ports

  • The pic is somewhat confusing. Is it a figure 8 power cord, or is there some kind of clip on plug?

    • clip on plug.

    • You can use it with a figure 8 power cord, but it is not included.

  • I would like to buy this one Zendure Super Port 4 100W Dual USB-C Desktop Charger (246337) (https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/zendure-super-port-4-100w-dual-…). Is it good ?

    • it is sold out

      • Yes it is :(> Also sold out in DickSmith.

    • was it on discount promo? how much???

      • Yes, 25$ I guess.

  • Got one with some kogan credits

  • Thanks to the OP. I grabbed 2 to go with our new his+hers Pixel 6's which use PD charging via USB-C.

  • I’m guessing I should buy a more reputable brand to charge an iPhone 13 Pro Max?

    • I would like to know as well

      • +2

I would not recommend using this to charge anything of worth. I bought one recently together with one of their powerbanks.
When I tried using it to charge my phone, it displayed an 'Overvoltage warning. Remove charger'. Luckily it doesn't seem to have damaged my phone.
I then tested it out on the Zendure powerbank I bought with it. This was working initially before I tried charging it, but no longer works (presumably damaged by the charger).

    • I would buy an official iPhone changer if I did spend that much for a phone…

Ps. I did buy one official charger from the apple store when I bought iPh 12 pro max

4 port wall charger is OOS in both Silver and Black

  • +1

Hmmm .. USB-PD only works when plugged into the wall.
When portable, output is limited to 5V. :-(

Also, not much use as a UPS, as power drops out when AC goes off.

  • Received a refund on the order :(

  • USB-C port on this device dead already after 2 weeks of use.

    Garbage

    • Fried my xbox controllers battery pack also… ffs not worth it…
