  • Very nice price!!!

    • It's not a very nice price - it's an AWESOME price. Even cheaper than Kogan.

Has anyone purchased from these guys before? Do they offer Australian warranty? I couldn't find it on their website.

  • Cheers!

    1 month warranty?

    • +1

Not if they want to be able to sell to Australian customers (and while they appear to be based in Hong Kong, their site is aimed at Australia/New Zealand).

      • there isn't much you can do, maybe a charge back ?

Bought this from Kogan for $538 (with shipping) yesterday. Don't mind paying the extra $20 for an 11 month longer warranty.

      Tru that

Bought this at launch for $720. This is a steal, it will make other phones feel like a toy.

would buy if its the 3g version..

ooh oww.. its the 3g version.. hmmmmmm

    • +7

      Of course it's the 3G version… it's a phone..

I think you are confusing this with the Galaxy tab..

      • There is an LTE version as well.
It has a different model number but it's still called the Galaxy Note.

My 2c for what it's worth, I've been an apple fanboi for years. Knew all the ins and outs. Took me just one day of playing around with this handset to win me over. Everything just works out of the box and the number of free apps available on the android market makes this phone a great phone. Was tossing up between the Galaxy SII 4G and this. Tried both, Galaxy SII 4G had really great speeds (30Mbps DL, 5.5Mb UL) and was a hard choice. In the end I settled for this Galaxy Note. The screen is crisp and clear, even good enough to be able to read an A4 document on it surprisingly. I commute, so watching my series is worth the extra real estate. I pair this with my bluetooth headset and it all works like a charm. No complaints.

Cheers guys for the positive comments and votes

    • Does it fit in your pocket comfortably?

  • Will definetely buy it when it is under $400.
I reckon this will be $400 when the Samsung Galaxy S 3 is released, and other quad core phones are released on the market in Australia.
If you consider that when the GS2 was released, the original Galaxy went down to around $320, this leads me to believe that the gs2 and possibly Galaxy Note will sink to around this price when these other phones are released.
    Cheers, and happy bargaining

  • Is this android 4 ICS?

  • On samsung's facebook page, it clearly shows the Galaxy note with ics

  • Really want to get the phone, still apprehensive about buying it due to the DAC (replaced my mp3 player with my phone). The Note uses the Yamaha DAC that is the same as the GS2, does not produce a very good sound compared to the Wolfson DAC in the original GS.

  • not buying till ics comes on this thing. most likely the new version a "note II" will be out with ics before this ever gets upgraded.

      I personally think the opposite.
