Xbox Series S Console Epic Fortnite + Rocket League Bundle $499 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

221

Available now at JB Hi-Fi and BIG W.

It's not as good as XBOX SERIES X but it's better than nothing. Especially if you have XGP, it feels good.

Why doesn't Epic just pay us to buy it

  • +3

Reminds me of a car subwoofer.

  • C&C available (for the JBs around me in Sydney eg. Macquarie, Top Ryde), or $4.99 shipping with tracking number.

RRP and no shortage of stock
    This is not a deal.
Big w has plenty in stock too

This is the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S instock/no stock website. These items are about the only items at RRP that the deals (which are not deals) will not get removed by mods. Yes I will get negged for this, bring them on.

Microsoft store has it for this price too. If you add another item (needs $1 more), you can get it with the Amex card offer and get it for $399.

    • No it doesn't…
      No stock

    • For those has no amex deal, shopback offer 10% cashback Xbox gift card, you can use for buying console from MS

    • Even cheaper if you loaded up on the after/zip/latitude pay offers in the past, could've gotten 3x $150 Microsoft giftcard for $100 each, and $50 Microsoft giftcard for $30 just recently.

I stuffed up and it cost me $350 for the series s, instead of $330, but still a good price for a Halo Infinite machine.

$499 is just too much money for what you are getting compared to the X. Much less powerful, no physical media and HALF the storage.

    • Agree, but can't even buy the X

  • +9

Wow, bundle is really pushing it. They're F2P games.

    • Yep, don't even know what I'm going to do with those extras considering I can't sell them.

  • "Better than nothing?" "Nothing" costs $499 less here, I'd take nothing over this any day of the week.

Big missed opportunity to not make a Series X that is purple and has the cube textures on it similar to Kevin the cube. I'd jump on that for sure, hopefully it isn't long till more special edition Series X πŸ™πŸ»

    • They already did with the Xbox One S console some years ago. It was fully purple with a matching controller, but no Fortnite styling.

      • I'm aware, I bought one of those for the cosmetics πŸ˜… however that was just purple, wasn't cube related at all :)

        • Well if you're creative enough, maybe you can design one yourself?

The Series consoles are the easiest to work with, especially with applying stickers/wraps to it.

Maybe even style it after the Kevin weapon wrap?

    499 for this shit? Pass.

  • Picked a near new boxed second hand one up from facebook marketplace for $350 and have to say I'm actually quite impressed with it… stock seems plentiful though now so if you don't need one for Christmas I wouldn't be surprised if these go on sale occasionaly for around the $400 to $450 mark in the first half of 2022.

    • That'd be a much fairer price imo.

  • thanks for the post OP

  • How is this deal worth it over the standard console by itself ? This has to be the biggest joke running of a console in 2021

  • The RRP of this bundle and the standalone console are the same - $499.

Considering this bundle contains paid cosmetic items for free, this may be a worthy purchase if you'd enjoy them… at RRP.

  • Hmm..the Xbox that nobody wants.

  • +2

This is literally RRP and both games are free to download

    Not a deal

    • +1

The bonus DLC is normally paid however.

      • Good to know! Still, I believe Big W is offering the same bundle for 475.
