This seems unusually cheap for a 32GB 3600Mhz kit. Beware that while the listing on Amazon states this is a CL16 Kit, it seems to be a CL18 kit ("Size Name: 32GB (16GBx2) - 3600MHz C18" when selecting this particular kit in the Size Name menu). Even so, this is very cheap for 32GB of 3600MT DDR4.

First deal, so I have no idea what I'm doing. Please remove if I goofed

  CL18 offsets the 3600mHz speed somewhat CL18 is roughly 11% slower in end performance vs CL16. Pity I was about to pull the trigger.

    Latency wise CL18 3600MTs is roughly the same as CL16 3200Mhz (they are both 10ns, and 3600Mhz has some more bandwidth).

    3600Mhz is more useful to Ryzen users (3000-series and higher) who want to run fClock at it's maximum (officially) supported frequency of 1800Mhz.

  Is the CL16 3200Mhz better and/or faster than a CL18 3600Mhz? I can see that the CL16 3200Mhz is $155 on the same page.

    They work out exactly the same by my calculations. Which link is it? I will buy it at that price, too many options on that page. Err do you mean the 2X8GB for $155? That's not 2x16GB

    These are definitely not Samsung B-Die. The timings are poor, just because Thaiphoon burner reports as B-Die doesn't mean it is. Thaiphoon reports two of my kits as B-Die when they clearly are not, most likely C-Die which is notoriously bad at overclocking.

  Anyone be warned, I have this kit (bought from PCCG) and its is single Rank. It benches lower than 3200mhz CL16 @ XMP. I have tried two cheap 3600mhz CL18 kits and they are both like this, better off going with 3200mhz CL16. I just installed my 32gb Fury Beast 3200mhz CL16 kit from black friday ($145 delivered) and it benches higher than these.
