  • you forgot to mark yourself as a rep!

    • I cannot tick the rep box in this post… messaged mod for help

  • Wondering how I can use the $6 ShoppingSquare site rebate that I got from a previous deal. Because that would make this awesome :-D

  • Selling fast for the 32GB. Already 9 sold!

These are so much more worth getting than the USB2 ones if you have USB3.
I feel my life passing by when copying one mkv on a 16gb usb2 one.

  • just bought 2, just for handy sake

Heads Up that these are useless as keyring drives.
They have great speed, but the USB connector is only secured to the circuitboard by 2 small, flimsy clips and the solder points. Unlike hard cased drives, the soft rubber casing on these offers zero support to the connector.
I had one as a keyring drive for 8 months before the connector just snapped off…

    • Agreed, I saw the image of the usb stick and I had to comment. We bought 3 of these at work but the 64gig models. Within half a year all three are broken/useless now due to the usb plug bending/breaking off from the circuitboard. Good idea for a durable concept but very poorly manufactured :(

yeah i have the GTR 64GB USB2 one.. it no longer works.. the drive still lights up and makes a detected sound in windows but it doesn't come up at all =\

it was a very fast drive though.. 25MB/s write

        :(

        • Ah, that explains it. Exactly the same problem here. :/

    • Try the survivor instead. They're almost indestructible

  • Nice to see a deal on higher speed USB sticks, but never been fond of this design that can take up the space of 2 or 3 USB ports, like some fat old-school AC adaptor.

  • Just got 2 16GB ones.

  • I think you may have made a typo on the 16gb listing…
Under specifications, you have storage capacity as 32gb

    Max Sequential Read (MB/s) 70
    Max Sequential Write (MB/s) 19
    Storage Capacity 32GB

    • 16GB model - actual (CrystalDiskMark)

      USB2 -
      34.79MB/s read
      21.49MB/s write.

  • You can get a 32GB Corsair from Austin Computers for $35.00

  • Are these proper retail units or "OEM"?

    just got one thanks

    only 4 more 32GB left, 43 16GB left

    • Ebay site still shows- More than 10 available.

      • I was going by the "Limited to 50 Buyers" in the post title but if you look at the eBay listing now they have sold 70+. Not sure if they have raised their limit

        • Seems like the 32gb one ended on 100

  • just bought a 32gb

    good deal =)

Could'nt agree more with scubacoles. My Missus bought home a Lacie key shaped drive from a workmate for me to load a few movies onto. The drive did not have a full size usb casing and i refused to use it as it was a dodgey fit as i had to wiggle it around to fit and i didn't want to damage my USB socket

Be warned, the 16GB version only has a max write speed of 18MB/s
The 32gb is slightly better at 40MB/s

Both disappointingly slow for USB 3 flash drives

  • This probably sounds funny but i'd prefer regular good ol' Sandisks. Slow as write speeds but reliable.

Still a good deal but due to mentioned reasons by scubacoles I wouldn't get this.

  • 70 sold for 32GB. I thought the rep limits to 50 only.

    • And rising….

  • 32GB sold out at 100 it seems.

  • Found out there are 2 models for the 32GB with the following details:
    * CMFVY3-32GB the larger size 100mm x 23 mm (Discontinued)
    * CMFVY3S-32GB the smaller size 74mm x 23 mm (Active)

    Which model are you selling?
Also, most Australian retailers seem to be offering a 5 year warranty on the 32GB but you only offer a 1 year warranty. Why is that?

    • Most likely it's the first model.

  • Sigh, no eBay at work

Should be good for bootable Win8 drive

  • Is this better than the Patriot express that MSY sold for about the same price?

  • sigh…missed out…fell asleep
