    Not really - I mean, would you expect a mobile phone you buy outright to provide a warning and then list typical prices for data/call plans? A warning/notification is enough.

      The mobile phone outright is from the same places that sells plans, so it's all over their website. 99% would try and 'upsell' the plans during outright purchase too.
      This retailer doesn't even link to the plans, like OP did. Probably because minimum $380 per annum, would surprise most.
