    Don't see why not. If you have obstacles between the cars - hills especially, but trees etc will limit distance greatly. We used 5 watt 2 ways at work and even then the max distance was only about 1km at times with traffic and a hill blocking line of sight.

      yep 100% agree
      without line of sight you will never achieve the advertised range on any device

      the 2 watt units are okay and i get up to 1.5km in urban areas. I give them to the kids when they go to the park
      5 watts would obviously be better

      should be fine between cars in a 4wd group
