    Well, I've always found your website to be a triumph of design over functionality. But you've outdone yourselves this time.

    IMHO - crap.

    Do you want to sell coffee or not? You've just substantially increased the risk that people (ie. me!) will order the wrong thing.

    I nearly order BLK espresso (or about the 3rd or 4th page of coffees, WTF) and only found the whole beans using search! Useless.

    If you spent more effort on getting orders out correctly and timed as requested - and less on a pretentious, non-intuitive website, I (for one) would be most gratified.

    /grump

    A pity - your BLK is well regarded here for flat whites & 3/4 flat whites

    Hi rep, on your home page, underneath the UCR app banner, all the links for "SHOP BLK, SHOP WHT, SHOP DECAF" lead to 404 errors

  • Hi Chris, we are sorry that you are disappointed with us on this occasion - during peak sale times we do experience an increased demand and we do our best to always promptly reply to our customer enquiries.
    In regards to your order, we have specific roast dates and send orders with requested dates as best we can - please note AusPost are currently experiencing delays so we appreciate your understanding if your order takes a couple more days to arrive.

      It took a couple of weeks for a lot of people in Vic last time around and there was no updates or anything. I think that is what people were most annoyed about, the lack of communication.

        As mentioned above, AusPost are currently experiencing delays, so this time around we've made it super easy by removing delayed and split shipping to make sure your coffee gets to you as soon as possible.

            @serpserpserp: Agree, I’ll be giving them another go but the lack of communication certainly left a bad taste when it was my first time dealing with them, even after sending them an email. Hope there’s a little improvement this time around.

      As mentioned by others the problems were:
      - you didn't send out beans on the dates that were requested
      - some people reported receiving beans with old roast dates (up to 1 week prior to dispatch)
      - no response to emails or contact form enquiries on your website
      - no response in the last deal page on this forum when people raised issues.

      So nothing to do with Australia post delays.

        Hi Chris,
        Thank you for your feedback, here at UCR we take feedback seriously and are always looking to improve our service and coffee.

        With that being said, as we are a small roastery we do not roast every day and we have specific roasting days and packaging days to fulfil both retail and wholesale orders, as such we can not always ship on exact days requested. However, we do try our utmost to do so within reason.

        Secondly, we roast our coffee as fresh as possible and do our best to send it out straight away. As a coffee lover, you must know that fresh coffee typically lasts 3-4 weeks and is often best 5-7 days after roasting. If customers have had issues with roasting dates, they should email our customer service staff as we will do our best to replace outdated beans.

        Based on valuable feedback like yours, we have put in new measures to make our services better including more communications staff to help with customer enquiries, new shipping processes and measures to meet customer satisfaction.

        Again we are truly sorry that you were disappointed with your previous experience with us but we really appreciate the feedback. And we hope you give us another shot in the future.
