David Fleay park is being renovated and the are no crocs there at the moment, so they are offering free or by donation entry until Dec 5.

It’s a small park but they have kangaroos (feeding at 9am I think), koalas, dingos, platypus, snakes, tree kangaroos, wallabies and more. It makes for a nice outing with young children and there’s also a board walk through the mangroves you can do just to the right of the entrance (this is always free). Unfortunately it’s pretty much forecast for rain until 5 Dec, but it shouldn’t be torrential all of this time.

      My Burleigh holiday ends tomorrow, but if you do write a post about places to eat, I'll probably be back this time next year!

        Good you’ll be coming back, it is a nice place to holiday. I hope you’ve enjoyed it.

        The food bargains I know about at the moment are Black Friday special at Caffeine Kings $10 Bahn mi + coffee or $12 Bahn me + beer, open evenings, special on all weekend (just up the road in Miami), $10 ramen tomorrow at goukai ramen, love this place! Regular bargain is $6.50 bacon and egg rolls at Barrio Cafe (also Miami), I’m in north Burleigh so most the deals I know are north Burleigh/Miami.
