Recommendation for Washing Machine under $1000

I am looking for a good washing machine. My price budget is up to $1,000 (but if it's cheaper then great). I've been looking around good guys, bing lee and betta but the reviews on product reviews aren't too great. Does anybody have some recommendations?

I have a small baby and need a good machine to wash his dirty clothes.

I saw samsung 8.5kg bubblewash front load washer WW85T504DAE and reviews are decent for this one.

is there anything wrong with your current washer?

    • Not sure why you're being downvoted, the main thing to look for in a washer is reliability, beyond that it's water usage and features. I'd never replace one that wasn't broken.

Some washers will do a slightly better job cleaning with a presoak and some will do less damage to clothing, but considering it's baby clothes they just need to be washed, the kid will grow out of them all anyway.

    • It is a valid question. Because the problem might not be the washing machine. It could be OP is putting a load that is close to the rated load. I rather wash multiple 3-4kg loads in a 8.5kg washing machine to ensure that everything is clean. And washing machine these days are extremely energy and water efficient.

    • yes, i bought it from eBay and it does not do anything. basically good for nothing.

    • i have the samsung eco bubble NO DONT GET IT take mine for free its not draining and a smart cookie could probably fix it the error code is 3C im looking at getting a boche

  • Have you tried Appliances Online?
Their website has a good filtering system so you can drill down on what might be suitable for you.
Make sure you filter by what size washer will fit in whatever space you have for it.

Ozbargains favourite washing machine: Bosch WAW82420AU. Occasionally dips under $1000 and well worth it

If you an get a 9kg Bosch for under $1k. Then go for it.

    I'd get a 10kg LG for $888 over the Samsung- https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lg-10kg-front-load-washer-wv5…

If you have the space and budget, I'd recommend getting a physically larger machine such as the LG 14kg - $1,338 https://www.stancash.com.au/lg-14kg-front-load-washer-wxl-10…

Having a larger machine provides so much more flexibility and ability to wash 1 load instead of 2.

    • Stancash charges $16.50 to pickufrom Slacks Creek. Wtf

Probably a 3rd party distribution centre as they only have stores in Vic.

You can join the mailing list to get $15 off your first purchase to offset.
