  • Didnt the Klarna promotion expire already?

    • yep you are right, my bad! the klarna link is still active, but I miss-read the dates - I have edited it! cheers!

What are the benefits of this over putting toothpaste on my finger and rubbing it around?

    • +14

Well, unless you have turbo fingers, this will probably give you a better cleaning result. If you do have turbo fingers, there are much better use cases than teeth cleaning.

  • There's also a $5 Bonus Cashback Shaver Shop challenge via Shopback app I just noticed (possibly targeted, only 600 slots).

  • How's this different from the 35$ one? (that RRPs for 70)

    • +2

I got this one for myself and my house mate got the $35 one. There is a huge difference, the power on the cheaper one feels like the sensitive mode on the 2000. Also battery life is a big difference as well. I'd say it's honestly worth the extra $15.

    • This is lithium and made in germany. Cheap ones made in china and nicd battery

  • Thanks. I missed this deal on Amazon so very pleased you found this one.

  • Black one is $44 on Amazon including delivery.

Really, can you share the link? I can't see $44.

    • Sorry, my bad, wrong toothbrush - sorry for the bum steer!

  • I think 31mop is referring to this: https://www.amazon.com.au/Oral-B-PRO-Rechargeable-Electric-T… but it's not the same brush.

    • Right, it's the 700. Which is OK, but the battery starts losing it's mojo after 12 months.

  • Found this on their ebay shop
    There's a 7.95 delivery fee charge but I had a $10 afterpay discount offer.

  • I bought these for myself and my two adult boys last time. The boys love them but i find it too strong for my teeth. I am nearly 50 and have sensitive teeth. If you are the same, i would recommend getting an electric toothbrush that is not as powerful.

    • How do you find this brush, when you activate it's sensitive mode?

      • i always have it on the sensitive mode (when you press the button twice right?) but it is still too strong. My teeth hurt after i use it. I hold it really gently against my teeth and still feels like a drill on my teeth

          Sensodyne?

          • @antman: repair and rebuild :)
yes, use it. thank you. i just don't think the pressure of the toothbrush is helping me. i can always use it to clean the grout in the shower :D

    • After brushing make sure to remove all the toothpaste on teeth by re-brushing with washed toothbrush.
Try this you will see difference in 2 weeks.

      • What difference does it make…in 2 weeks?

  • Great toothbrush - for $49 this is an absolute no brainer if you're in the market IMO.

    • Is it OK to buy now and keep as a backup, perhaps use it 2 years later? Does the battery capacity degrade even without use?

      • Don't quote me on it - but this has a lithium battery so should be okay? But these are on sale around about this price semi-frequently so I wouldn't have fomo to that extent personally.

  • I have this , battery duration not so good

really? i think it is the best part. it stays charged for a long time and warns you when it is getting low.
