Trying to scoop up a TV this Black Friday, and I've been comparing TV's but tbh I haven't bought a TV in over a decade so I have no idea what any of the new tech means. I did a bit of research into LED vs QLED vs OLED and stuff like which backlighting is better, but outside of that it's all over my head.
Here are some options in my price range, although the specs are a bit iffy I can't even find how many nits the last two are:
TCL C725
https://www.tcl.com/au/en/products/c725/65C725.html
100hz, QLED, 330 nits, back-lit
Hisense U7G

100hz, ULED, ??? nits, direct-lit
Samsung AU8000 (bit more exxy than the others but I have a mate who can get some sort of a staff discount on this)

100hz, LED, ??? nits, edge-lit
EDIT:
TGG now has a TCL C727 for the same price as the C725

Seems to be the same specs but has 450 nits instead of 330, and has "full array local dimming" which is apparently good. Is this probably the no brainer option then?
I got a Hisense 65" at this price point from JB about two years ago or so. Can't remember the model number, but has been perfect for our requirements.
