What's In The Box: Acer Aspire 5 15.6" Laptop
Manufacturer's Warranty: 1 YearHad been looking for something that’s quick for web browsing, having multiple pages open and flicking between?
Also thinking about getting VR headset for kids, Is this something that would work well with oculus quest 2?
I’m not on top of all the specs etc
Or better holding off for cyber Monday? Happy to spend up to $1200 if significantly better machine.
I highly doubt the gpu would be enough
Add $100 and get the Acer with rtx 3060 from HN
I don’t fully understand all the spec stuff, but isn’t this one better CPU of i7 versus i5 for the rtx 3060?
The GPU is very important in driving the graphical component of the processing. For VR a powerful GPU is required. So, yes the CPU is only an i5 versus the i7 here but combined with the GPU the Nitro is a much more capable system.
The most important part for any kind of gaming is the GPU, most laptops nowadays have even too powerful CPU's for the average user.
Do u guys think this laptop or this one from amazon. I7 vs more storage, acer vs lenovo
https://www.amazon.com.au/Lenovo-IdeaPad-i5-1135G7-Display-8…@Wawasjohn. Both are very good options. This is definitely a personal decision on what you need more. For me, the i7 is more important that the extra capacity. I find it easier to upgrade the drive or RAM down the track than upgrading the processor.
Same laptop with the i5 1135G7 instead is only 648 at Harvey Norman. Pay with gift cards from shopback for another 7% discount too.
was looking at this. any idea if RAM can be upgraded?
