You kidding me? SGII all the way…..
yes I prefer SGN as well but they both have their ups and downs.

LOL - this is the price.. unless we decide it is not the price.
What did you expect? These are the same crowd as "WE DO NOT MAKE LOSS FOR ANY ORDER" aka DWI.
I'd rather get the Voda $29 deal thanks, at least you have a plan with the phone….which is about $696 with 2 year warranty on the phone…
I am not a fan of Vodafail. Noticed current Vodafail and Virgin galaxy S2 deals would expire on April fool day. I am hoping Virgin would reintroduce the Christmas deal on April 2nd. $29 cap with 3 months free access.

Neg for that! You advertise a price, you sell at that price, period! It's not only the right thing to do, it's the law…I'm surprised the ACCC hasn't torn these chumps a new one for those shenanigans??? :o
No, that's not the law. Most advertising is actually what is known as "an invitation to treat" which means in essence, "I will probably accept your money for this item if you offer me this amount". Many people misunderstand this and think because an item has a price listed on it that the seller is required to sell it at that price. Now as to what makes for happy customers and return business that is a different matter.
Now, if they say "limited quantities" then the advertisement is more likely an offer which you can accept by paying the asking price. This is basic 1st year contract law.
So calm down, what they are saying is quite legal, just odd.
FFS, talk about bush lawyers!!! Different kettle of fish altogether Tim, this is not subject to vanilla contract law per se…you need to re-think your interpretation of consumer protection legislation & have a close look at the exact nature of the scam these pricks are running. It is quite literally against OUR laws!!!
You are indeed quite wrong in this instance; it is NOT, nor should it ever be, legal to alter the purchase price after payment for an advertised product has been accepted, except of course in the case of a genuine pricing error…which would necessitate a blanket refund policy, not some pseudo bait&switch pricing arrangement! Clearly, in this case it is not a bonafide error! Seriously, look at it objectively or apply a bit of commonsense…for a 'reasonable person' to think that this scenario would ever be ok is plain idiotic!
As noted by Merlict, the only thing saving them is the fact that they're based out of HK. If they were Oz based they'd be subject to Australian consumer protection legislation which indeed falls within the purview of the ACCC and FT!
So, if you reckon they're doing the right thing, buy away mate, let us know how that works out for you! ;)
I contacted the ACCC after the absolute BS they tried to pull on the Galaxy note deal ( Paid x, 4 weeks later asked to pay an extra $30 or they'd cancel my order)
Said there wasn't much they could do, they are pretty much based in HK with only a paid phone service in Aus.
what will I miss with the lack of SD slot if the use of phone is only for general usage ie.phone n messaging n a few games? nothing fancy (not keeping lots of musics or movies, no rooting, etc)
It has an sd slot…
To answer the question anyway though. You won't miss it much at all. I don't have one and get by very easily with quite abit of music, alot of apps (16gb memory).
Correct and the SGN doesn't!
has anyone bought this deal? these guys are like Kogan and ship out of Asia don't they? I want this phone but i am concerned they might try and ship the i9100G model (the cheaper inferior model samsung made for the Indian/Asian market) i read on Whirpool that Kogan did this recently.
Plenty of threads here & on WP reflect some pretty dodgy dealings, I would be hesitant to use these guys for anything. At least Kogan have a legitimate Oz presence for business purposes! ;)
Neg for DWI sister company pulling the same old tricks. One assumes they will also "make no loss on any order" meaning they will hold your order to ransom until you pony up more cash.
What the %$#@$^ does 'no surcharge' mean??? LOL!!!
No credit card surcharge….
I think what they mean by "Final price is subjected to eGlobaL Digital Cameras Website" is because if you choose the white model it's $5 extra. Also if you add any memory cards or accessories then of course the price will change and not be $503 and "Final price is subjected to eGlobaL Digital Cameras Website". It's more like an FYI and a CYA I guess?
how is it that gs2 is higher price than sgn. I have owned both and i would always prefer sgN
