Noticed on the KFC app that the twister no longer has lettuce and tomato but instead a Dorito styled chip with slaw.

Simplification of the menu due to labour supply shortage?

I might have suggested supply side issues with lettuce and tomato but that's still on other menu items.
Get their takeaway about once a month and their chips are always undercooked.Can I bring my own tomato and lettuce and get them to put it in the twister for me?
You can add lettuce for free, just need to BYO tomato
Just buy a packet of wraps from coles or woolies, order a 10 pack of crispy strips and pepper mayo from KFC, microwave the wrap for 15-20 seconds, put your shredded lettuce and tomato on, add your crispy strips and your mayo, probably taste better anyway, and if it doesn't taste quite right, microwave the whole wrap for 10 seconds, then it will taste more to your liking

If it ain't broke don't fix it, original twister was the only thing I get at KFC besides their hot n spicy chicken.
The Mexican twister with the Supercharged sauce, corn chips & salad items was my favourite, but haven't seen it available in years!

Cheap coleslaw is a lot cheaper than the lettuce and tomato that was on it. Tomatoes are pretty expensive at the moment.
I only went to KFC for an ultimate burger combo and a twister. I'm not eating some crunchy coleslaw twister, I hate raw carrots, but I love lettuce and tomato. So no more KFC for me.
Had KFC tonight, Girlfriend complained Twister wasn’t the same, she said my crispy strips looked like over cooked dog turds 😳 (a small dog at that).
If that’s the way KFC chooses to go, We’ll vote with our feet .Tomatoes are only $3.30 a kg for truss atm. Def not expensive:)

I went to my local Spar yesterday and regular tomatoes are $9.90/kg and truss was $8/kg. Just had a look at Woolworths, similar prices. QLD seems to be getting shafted on tomatoes.

I went to KFC yesterday for my favourite menu item, the twister! I bit into this abomination and wondered how the heck they could get good up the process of placing lettuce and tomato on the wrap but it turned out the old twister had been retired. Last time I went to KFC they got the order severely wrong. It wasn't someone else's order, just mine but very wrong.
I think my KFC days are over.
