LOL. Can't believe someone would sell this but even harder to believe is that there are 13 bids on this totaling $10.

      Someone must have found Ozbargain because the highest bid is back down to $10.50
      Awfully good of the seller to hide bidder's identities so noone knows who they are! (or perhaps they are trying to hide something from the rest of us!)

        damn I just researched that and you are right. I had assumed most places would be using plant-sourced rennet as it is cheaper but HJ uses calf rennet.
        ACCC here I come.

    I found it incredibly funny that one news/current affairs program today used this particular deal, quoting how many vouchers were "sold", to illustrate the popularity of group buying. LOL

    Is there a reason why HJ decided to "sell" these coupons through Scoopon? It's hardly necessary if their own staff cannot be bothered to collect the vouchers. May as well just advertise it on those overhead displays.

      It's all marketing. Scoopon gets their name out there. Hungry Jacks gets their name out there. Newspapers and tv shows pick up the story. I reckon even at $2, HJ's would still be making a profit.

    Another one, Hungry Jacks Voucher~Grilled Whopper® & Golden Fries 5x Vouchers $34.50 value!!.

    No mention of Scoopon and the seller managed to integrate the list into the auction. They even have a note that says to ring the locations that HJ are unsure if they accept the coupons. Possibly an OzBargainer.

    Looks like the seller previously sold some for $8

    If HJ are doing this to promote their product and business then they have screwed up big time.

    I have been using some of my $2 coupons at the local 2285 HJ's and even at $2 I fee ripped off.

    The store for a start is filthy, maybe the dirtiest fast food place I have ever seen … lean over the counter and take a look and I would not risk letting my dog in there..

    As for the food… fries sometimes cold, fatty & soggy and the Whopper.. would be about the most bland tasteless thing I have ever eaten.

    The staff all have that "wish i was somewhere else" look as well.

    In one way it is a good promotion… for McDonalds!! LOLLLL

    Then my $5 lunch will consist of this

    1 whopper
    1 small fries

    Mc donalds
    1 mc double
    1 small fries
    1 medium coke ( free when you spend $3 with student edge card)

    Total $5
    Just need a coupon lol
