Is it me or is their model weird?
I actually thought about it while I was installing the app, that the ride Sharing industry is quite saturated already. But I did find myself comparing fares in the past, navigating between apps - Uber, ola, didi etc. This app will save me few minutes by comparing all fares for me. But, what my question is, how is this app making money? Am I being charged extra for using this app? Or will they take commission from the service I will use?
I don’t think it stacks. The charge to my Amex was just cancelled. So either/or but still free.
You would need to spend $40+ to stack both offers
Tried using this today and had absolutely no success with drivers accepting rides (tried Ola and the taxi options). Gave up and switches to Uber and got a driver within 1 min
Plus for the deal, but be warned drivers accept jobs then cancel (at least that was our experience Melbourne CBD 10pm Wednesday night). They don't like these account jobs because they're non-cash. There may not be surge pricing for taxis, but you're waiting for a driver to accept your jobs while empty taxis sail past. Worthwhile for the $20 off, not so much for waiting instead of hailing on the street.
