      Yep, you can even go further and replace the lance with a 'stubby gun' which makes foaming much less heavy (less length; lighter)

    I bought the Repco one on special. It is packaged with a lot of adaptors including to fit my Gerni. So you don't have to hunt around for them.
    The unit itself also works well and came with enough foam for about 20 washes of 2 cars.

  There's also this wide mouth version which I would take over the tall, skinny bottles with narrow mouth.

  Stubby gun and nozzles here for a reasonable price

  Seems like the adapters for the 1/4inch quick release to a Gerni is approx $20 on eBay. Adds a fair bit to the price.
