Buy base game from amazon ($7.50) (need us billing address) and Dlc from aus steam store and you get game plus Dlc for around $12.50.

Good deal though on aus steam store anyway.
Also if anyone is buying all 3 Dlc - you can save $0.50 by clicking into explosive mission or tactical Dlc page, then you can buy both together for $1.99 instead of $2.48 or whatever it would be lol.

    • Bought from Amazon.com and imported into Steam, no problems. Thanks!

      • this!

    • Using an Oz credit card for payment is OK?

      • Sure is, I didn't buy this, but I bought MW2 for about $5 through amazon recently, used a US address and my Oz CC for payment, no problems.

        • Thanks mate, I'll give it a go.

I've got an account I set up with a US address for the Amazon App store, with a random name. Did you have to change your name in the account to match your CC?

        • Meh, went up to $15 while I waited! All good.

        • There's no way anyone can ever check your name, address, post code, or any other details against your credit card, due to Australia's privacy laws.

Some US-issued credit cards implement a zip code/house number verification system, but that's about as far as it goes.

  • Just bought the missing link! Cheers!

  • Just grabbed the steam key from US amazon for $7

takes 2 mins to just enter a US address (at checkout) and purchase

  • Why has this game become so cheap recently? Not complaining, just curious.

Basic economics mate. i.e. lower price = higher demand :)

  • Is this game worth getting? Multiplayer any good?

bought this about a month ago from greenman gaming for a similar price. obviously our taste in games may differ but personally i'm really enjoying it so far! really in depth n interesting story line, its easy to get totally immersed.

my only complaint is that one of my missions early on seem to have been bugged which won't allow me to complete it and i'm worried that not being able to do so is keeping me from progressing. i don't know how common these bugs are tho. anyone had a similar problem?
