[eBay Plus] Roborock Auto-Empty Dock for Roborock S7 $548.99 Delivered @ Mobileciti eBay

ETA 23th Nov

For those who've already owned a Roborock S7 (or planning to get one), this is probably the cheapest AU stock as of current. Although I am unsure whether this is the Cyclone model that support bagless operation.

Reading one of the expired post, seems like AU versions should support both bagged and bagless, however I sent a message to Mobileciti ebay and they replied saying this is not the Cyclone dust bucket version and would require a dustbag to use the device, so I am really confused. Hoping someone can chime in!
noted by @davidl820: OP, Reading the description that mentions 3L dust bag, which is not the cyclone dust bucket (AU) model as it only supports the 1.8L dust bags. Make sure you get correct dust bags if you're buying one of this.

Oh and don't forget to get more cashbacks by purchasing discounted giftcards, revolut is running a promotion now with shopback where you can get the normal 3% cashback when purchasing ebay giftcard + additional 4% cashback if paid using revolut card, more details here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/660382

    • Me too lol, mobileciti is selling the s7 too albeit only a tiny bit of discount, you do get additional $100 using the same ebay code though, hopefully we'll get more discounts closer to Black Friday..

    • If you don't mind warranty, keep an eye on Banggood, I got one in August for $800 delivered.

Costs more than the Viomi vacuum and dock together!

    • just bought the S9. It does the job pretty well.

    • Yes, almost bought the Viomi the other day but after some research, seems like S7 is the only model out there that automatically raise the mop on carpeted areas, so it can mop+vacuum the whole place without any human intervention. And sadly my apartment unit is 50% carpeted (which can't be removed) :(

      • I wouldn't hold out too much on that feature unless you have a low-pile carpet (I don't, and rugs are also too high). I have a separate schedule and areas for mopping. Also, I block it from going to anywhere there is a carpet whenever mop is attached.

        • I have a really low-pile carpet so this feature might be useful in the long run when I eventually work in the office, thinking of setting it to vacuum mop the entire place while no one is at home :) But good points thanks!

      • You dont need a mop that raises automatically as you do mopping a vacuuming separately anyway. i.e. vacuum daily and mop once a week or fortnight and attach the mop at that time, nothing to lift up in the vacuuming days.

  • Not sure it's worth it? You still need to fill the water and change the mop pads manually so doesn't exactly automate using it.

    • Good point actually, I am still on the fence myself

    • I had mine for a month or so now. I have a dog that sheds a lot, and found that each run fills the dustbin. I wasn't even running the vac on max suction. Now that I have the dock, I have scheduled 3 separate runs where each time it automatically empties before it goes to the next section. In total, I get it to vacuum 120sqm of the house daily, and find that it's definitely picking up much more dust than before.

I agree it doesn't help for mopping. But I find running the mop once or twice a week enough for me.

  • Ridiculous price.. for not even the bloody vaccuum.

  • Pretty funny that you can get a viomi s9 robot vacuum and empty station for less than this.

  • OP, Reading the description that mentions 3L dust bag, which is not the cyclone dust bucket (AU) model as it only supports the 1.8L dust bags. Make sure you get correct dust bags if you're buying one of this.

    • Thanks! Will add this to the post :)

    • Does it mean the one selling in RRP at roborock official site and also https://www.robotspecialist.com.au/ right now are the AU models with cyclone dust bucket? If so might be worth to wait for promotion on those sites
