Voucher for 40x60cm Canvas Print $35 + Other Sizes (Standard Delivery Included) @ Photobookclub

250

Seeing the popularity of https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/663994, wanted to share an available-all-year-round deal for prints, not just canvas but just about anything you needed printed on. I've only used the canvas prints.

I've made over 10+ large canvas prints (usually 50x100cm or 75x100cm) with them over the years, and have made 1-2 bigw ones too, and they're basically equally good quality.

My house looks like a gallery and I've been given cease and desist order by the other half.

Other canvas sizes include:

  • 30x40cm - $30 delivered
  • 40x60cm - $36 delivered
  • 50x75cm - $44 delivered
  • 50x100cm - $54 delivered
  • 75x100cm - $59 delivered

Long running deal. Prices moves +/- $5 throughout the year.

You buy a "voucher" then go to make a canvas print, removing any pre-selected "upgrades" then apply the voucher at the checkout step with nothing to pay at checkout. No downloads or offline software required.

    Thank you.
Will give both big w and photobook club a go. This is exactly what i need.

  • I could select 40x60cm - $36 but there was no option to add my picture for the painting.

    • buying the voucher and ordering the canvas painting is separate processes.

once you buy the voucher, then you go and start the process to make the canvas, it will at first show a ridiculous total of $500 or whatever for the canvas, but at checkout, you add the voucher like a promo code and will drop to $0.

  • Thanks OP I'm a bit confused but will work it out. I also wanted to comment to easily find this deal later.

    • Be happy to explain if you need to.

  • Their website is cancer. Such a process (basically take your money and then they can upsell and you're stuck with them). Judging by the comments on whirlpool a disappointing product at the end of it anyway. Going to avoid this one.

    • Confused. I've bought many many prints with them without much dramas, and the quality is exactly the same as the bigw ones to the point I can't tell which of my prints are bigw or photobookclub without taking them off the wall.

      But you do you.

  • I've decided to try it out, and I hope the canvas quality is reasonable.

The coupons say they include delivery, but then they attempted to charge me anyway, after I applied the code. Luckily I live close enough that I can drive to do a pickup - but even then, they charged me $0.05 for each print! Crazy!

    • Yeah I've got to this point - and I'm being charged $10.00 per canvas print for shipping even after the code's been entered. I've emailed their customer support, not happy.

  • Thanks OP for sharing. Unfortunately the website is an absolute shocker, and I tried to combine the "Extra $10 off" voucher (in bold at the bottom of the post) with the $49 canvas voucher I bought. Needless to say, it didn't work, and I thought I'd have to take it up with fair trading because the ordering process is unnecessarily complicated and painful. Eventually I managed to order the canvas I wanted, but I will not deal with this company again, even if the quality is good.

  • If you're thinking about buying a canvas through these guys, don't. They get you to order and pay first, then you get a voucher emailed to you to go back and 'create' your canvas (i.e. upload your photo and hit submit).

The website utility doesn't work for this (confirmed by helpdesk) - you have to download their 1.3GB desktop software. Overall a massive PITA. None of this gets mentioned in the checkout process.

No disrespect to OP who posted this in good faith.

    • I uh use their website all the time. Enter the voucher code during the checkout and that's it. Never downloaded their offline desktop software, unless this is a very very recent change. Latest one I made was in mid 2021.

  • Ordered the $49 voucher for a canvas incl delivery, made the print. Then when I enter the voucher it still charges $10 postage. WTF..

    • Some of the "extra" are preselected. Ensure you haven't got any extras in there. Like frame or mounting extras.

I've ordered many prints, it includes postage but I've been caught out by preselected extras in there.

  • Just a heads up that vouchers from this store expire 6 months from date of issue- i had bought several thinking i would save them for various gifts to family throughout the year and just noticed mine from this deal all expired two months ago and will cost $15 each to 'reactivate'. Whilst i should have read the fine print(i was thinking i had 12 months to use them up), im a little annoyed that they are issued with only 6 months of validity.
