what's a better bang for buck? I love oat milk and struggle to find a good one without paying my liver
I like the unsweetened vitasoy and so good (non-barista ones) for my coffees. Theyre often $2 or lower when on sale.
If I'm feeling generous I'll get myself some oatly.
Same. I just stock up on Vitasoy when it's on special for $2. Tastes good and I can get decent foam out of it. I used to buy Pure Harvest previously but it doesn't foam well.
@dazweeja: The unsweetened oat didn't work well for me (frothing) but maybe I need another try. have also tried the milky and didn't dig it https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/148781/vit…
https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/310675/vit…@freestyle18: I find the vitasoy unsweetened froths best for me (over the so good), but the milky and new probiotic one are a no go.
@freestyle18: Vitasoy is pretty good but isn't great for latte art and doesn't taste as good imo compared to so good barista edition. Oatly is by far the best but can't justify the price.
@qtr: I retried the vitasoy but find it not sweet enough actually. Around 2g of sugar per 100ml is the sweet spot for me. I also tried Califia. it's good but it's $3.80 even on sale. too steep for me
Agreed with the unsweetened vitasoy - regularly $2
I agree nice tasting oat milk..
These guys have beaten me to it but both Vitasoys (the regular unsweeted and also the Milky) are excellent for the price.
For use with coffee, it's a bit hard to find but if you can recommend Alternate Dairy. Minor Figures and Oatly very overrated especially for the price
Possibly unpopular opinion, but Aldi's $1.99 Oat Milk tastes quite nice.
I was concerned to see vegetable oil in this product (I imagine that's how it gets "creamy"). I don't rate this one at all.
I think that is the common ingredient across most if not all of em. I looked at vitasoy and Califia and both have oils
I've tried a number of oat milks and so far Chobani has been the clear winner
I think oatly is the best, but also the most expensive
Me too! Definitely find the chobani the stand out. I ended up buying 12 of them while they were half price at woolies
Try Califia (https://califiafarms.com.au/products/oat-barista-blend) have found in some Woolworths stores, taste is amazing
It’s too sweet for me. Our local coffee shop switched to this and I really dislike it. App down to rate preference I guess. Less creamy than others
I actually really like the califia but it's hardly stocked at woolworths stores.
I agree. I like this better than Oatly Barista Edition. The best I've tried yet.
I don't mind this oat milk but Minor Figures is the best one I've tried that you can buy at Woolies. Great for coffees especially.
Not even worth it at $3, far better oat milks out there barista or non-barista
