  • Is the extra 4% with revolut when buying gift cards available with this?

    • Apparently the Revolut deal stacks with everything.

    • Yep, essentially makes this 20% cashback on a $50 GC. Challenge completed for me already, thanks OP.

      • How are you calulating 20%?

        4% x $50 = $2
        $5 bonus
        Total $7 from $50 spend = 14%

          6% cashback on $50 EB card ($3) + 4% by paying with Revolut ($2)
          + $5 bonus

          • @MiscOzB: Ahh forgot SB might have a base cashback!

          • @MiscOzB: Has the extra 4% stacked for you when paying via revolut? My cashback is only showing the base rate + bonus $5 despite paying with revolut

@Wafflel: The Revolut cashback takes a little while to track; I’m still waiting for it too.

    • Can someone explain Revolut please?

  • +2

Thanks, does stack with 6% cash back. Bought some gift cards, hopefully my Xbox preorder comes in soon!

  • Thanks OP. Will go towards my Elden Ring CE preorder!

    • Do collector edition of games appreciate in value?

    In before EB hate

Just a note, you can only use 1 gift card per transaction online, not sure about in store.

    • +1

Unlimited (well I used 6, but I do believe there is no limits) instore. Paid off my preorder instore already

      • +1

Yep, seems you can use as many as you like in store. I paid the remaining amount for a PS5 ($550) in store recently entirely with $50 Ultimate gift cards.

    • Yeah so lame you can only use one online

That's 16% not bad. I will take it.

I just bought bought a Switch. Looking to purchase recent titles Mario Party Superstars and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Should I wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday or pull the tricker on this deal? Thoughts……?

    • could consider getting the nintendo online game vouchers (2 for $135; $67.5 each game), granted both the games will be digital.
at absolute cheapest id think these games could be bought new for 50-60 minimum (so this gift card may help) but it’s more about whether you want to play now or wait.
not sure on any upcoming sales though, sorry. first party nintendo title sales seem a little tough to come by

  • Does the challenge track instantly?

    • It said within 48 hours when I redeemed it just now.

      • Addendum: but in the end, it took about fifteen minutes.

    • Couple of minutes.

If I buy the eb games gift card would I be able to buy Roblox gift cards with it in store? Anyone know?

    • +1

Should be able to. I used gift card to buy Steam wallet before.

  • Thanks OP. Good for those buying pokemon this Friday (after making eb games price match of course)

  • Any news on PlayStation Plus Black Friday deals? These should be available from EB games

  • As the T&C said "Limited to one bonus per customer", can we really buy more gift cards to get the bonus?

At least I've bought one for the pokemon on Friday.

  • My cards pin number bizarrely had only 3 digits and said it couldn't be used…took a few punts and turns out the missing number was a 0 in front of the 3 digits that were noted.
