@UndeclaredFreak: Haha. I think the part where you went to Customer Support to lie blatantly to their face set you apart from the other users. No worries though, you do you.

              • +2

@Boscom123: Interesting morality scale you have there. This thread is filled with people creating 20 account, referring themselves to get bother referrer and referee credit. Likely never paying full price or using the services at all. But myself whom has spent thousands with them tries to create one extra account using the random referral generator but contacts support via email when the promo fails…that’s crossing the line. Lol. Right, good one.

@UndeclaredFreak: Please just stop trying to justify your actions… Whatever helps you sleep at night.

                  • -1

@Boscom123: No justification needed. Merely pointing out your flawed logic. No worries though, you do you.

    • how can the system tell as you are using new email phone card

      (maybe use fake name?)

can choose another address if you pick up

      • Fake name was used also. The only thing that was the same was the device and address. Which is silly due to the fact that people have roommates and move. Etc.

      • Any idea what DoorDash tracks? My address got banned, tried ordering to another street but I'm still banned.

I'm using Revolut disposable cards, could they be tracking that?

Tried fake name/new address/ new IP/ incognito browser etc.

    • U most likely used a payment card that has been used before.
You should use a new card for each new user.

      • Nope, was a brand new card.

        • -1

How many did you refer? limit is 25.

I haven't had problems so far with my self-referring procedure.

    • Same thing happened to me except I had never signed up before. They just wouldn't take my money.

can we use doordash gift card but still get cashback from shopback?

  • Interestingly, I've used doordash before plenty of times, but I decided to create a new account to try this.
It worked using the same phone number as previously, if I try to make a 3rd account however it no longer works. Wonder why it let me before.

    • -1

i think they're cracking down. back when it was easy I used over 100 different doordash accounts. Hasn't worked for me since feb this year

  • So the new account can't use one of the $15 credit on the first order i.e have to pay $20 of the inflated prices straight out to get the credit?

  • Some tips i would like to share on making multiple accounts:

Email addresses: If you have a gmail account, you could simple put a "." anywhere in your email and it will still forward to your original email address, saves you from creating a new one. For example, your original email address is [email protected], if you sign up using email address [email protected], it will still goto [email protected]. Hope that makes sense

Payment: I use zip but im sure there are other virtual credit card providers out there that has single use credit cards.

Mobile number: this is probably the biggest hurdle of the three but there's currently a deal for free sims thanks to easternculture https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/663347

    • people are reporting that DD will allow one new account with the same mobile # but after that it doesnt work

      • +1

Thats correct. The new account with the SAME number but different email/CC will receive the $15x3 credit but the referrer will miss out on the $30 credit

    • Biggest hurdle could be needing new devices for each new accounts as apparently device ID/ IMEI are tracked, so swapping multiple sim cards in same device may not work.

      • Yes they don’t trace Ip or physical adresses, only your card, sim and phones Imei numbers, Same with amazon bonus credits.

        • +1

No, no app or service can track IMEI.

The only thing they can track is googleID or iOS's version - which resets when you reset a phone.

      • I don't think so!
How do they track device name! That will be privacy issue, unless they track IP (which also changes from time to time if you set the settings correctly).

  • If you don't want to wait for the amaysim sim, woolworths have the vodafone $10 starter pack for $4 at the moment.

I referred my husband a few months ago and the referral was rejected as the system think he ‘already has an account’. However he’s never used Doordash before, except Grill’d which is powered via Doordash. I wonder if if that’s why the system think he’s an existing user. Still frustrating none the less, and support won’t help at all. Has anyone else had the same experience?

  • -1

Is it just me or has doordash stopped accepting revolut?

  • -5

i still use a method that works perfectly read below for steps

1- you need a new number for only once if you dont do any mistakes upon signing up
2- clean account with no issues that you can use for referrals which will be your main account
3- on the new account you need to use different names and lastnames dont use the same ones again like if theres 2 josh signed up through your referall it wont work and use the fresh number i use $5 aldi starter pack you can use anything similar or even cheaper
3- make sure that you dont get any errors while signing up and making your order if you encounter any issues with payment or signing up this will trigger a block on the account and you wont get the referall bonuses
4- revolut app for disposable cards if your cards dont work start over and this time use paypal with your disposable card
5- once your order has been completed go to your account details and change the mobile number to a random mobile number and confirm it via email or your mobile this allows you to use the same number on a new account this step is important make sure you dont forget this step

i personally dont use the paypal step because mine works without it if yours dont work make a new account and use paypal this time

    enjoy your meal

  • Think my account is flagged. I tried signing up my mum and dad and they aren't getting the 3 x $15 discount

  • For any existing users, they have put in place new algorithms to detect existing users through payment methods, phone numbers. It is best that you purchase a new sim card, use VPN and incognito mode whilst signing up. Use different name and email address as well.

  • Zip disposable card works for me, wooho!

Also, is it me or are doordash drivers worse than ubereats/deliveroo drivers?

  • When checking the referral status, it says the referee has to place an order over $30
Though seemingly everywhere else, it says that they only need to spend $20

Has anyone ordered over 20 but under 30 and had this work?

    • +1

$30 credited for $20 order here.

      • $20 before $15 discount for new user or after? My friend completed $22 order yesterday but my referral shows order not placed yet.

        • $23.50/$8.50 nett
          Tracked once delivery was completed.

          • @randomusername2017: The profile Country was set to US. Tried changing to Aus hopefully works with next order.

  • Does my referee need to spend $35 on their first order for me to get my referral bonus?? Because they are getting $15 off on their first order.

    • Yes, they need to spend $35, I checked with support.

  • I have made a couple of referrals, I only received the bonus for the ones that have ordered over $35 for an order so they paid $20 after the bonus. It was still a good deal for them.
I have also noticed that you will be flagged for already having an account if you use the same address, so you need to use different addresses. I referred both my mum and dad, but I had to say different addresses. We did pick up orders for my Mum.
Also, I am using my 3 $15 bonuses for being a new user, I ordered from the Reject Shop, $20.20 worth of cleaning stuff for $5.20, they then didn't have one of the items so I got a refund of $3, so $20 of cleaning products for $2.20! Just thought I would share as this was a pretty awesome deal and it might help someone 😁

    • ordered over $35

Really?.. mine all tracked on $20 spend

I have also noticed that you will be flagged…..same address

Maybe after the first 20 accounts?

To receive credits, your friend has to create a new account, and place an order over $20.

      • Well I wasted 2 referrals by not doing those things, but I'm glad it worked for you.
When I checked with support they said they had to spend $20 after their $15 bonus.
When I used the same address it came up on my referral list as they already have an account.

        • my referral list as they already have an account

That's usually what happens when you don't use a unique payment method/email/mobile combination for each account, delivery address does not matter

          • @randomusername2017: Everything was different but the address. It could just be that they don't like me, but I did get the referral bonus one time, so I will just be grateful for that. One of my referees will try doing a $35 order after the $20 one didn't get me a bonus and I will update if successful.

  • did anyone get 15 off in their second order ? I am not getting

    • -1

      Spend over $20?
      Have credits?
      Other promo code used?
Option to select $15 off in change promo?
      KFC order?

    • Didn't get mine too for second order. Must be expired or changed

      • Actually it did work later on for me for the 2 and 3rd order. Awesome deal

  • Thanks OP, got a free meal

  • +4

Anyone getting referral credits? Had someone sign up, they got referee credits but their account under my status shows their email under 'signed up but haven't ordered'

    • +4

Out of 5 referrals I only got one $30 bonus. I know at least 3 have ordered and 2 did an order over $35 but the other didn't. I spent hours trying to get help yesterday, they refunded me from an order I had made…but I feel like this might reflect poorly on the restaurant or driver which would definitely not be true.
Mine shows the same as yours, that they haven't ordered even though they definitely have!

      • You got a upvote from me. Trying to cheat the system and calling support

        • Mine were all genuine referrals with new numbers, cc, email and addresses.
I didn't try to cheat the system but now I feel like I have due to that refund.

          • @Smoosh: Referee spent $20 and referrer gets $30 seems working till last month, tried 10+ referral this month, received $0 referral credit. Can anyone confirm now the spending requirements is $35+ in order to get $30 referral credit?

            • @JackMa101: They refer to order subtotal that should be before promo discount but doesn't seem to be working for me.

"Select regions require a minimum subtotal (excluding taxes and fees) on Customer's first order that must be met in order for both Customer and Referrer to receive Credits."

            • +2

@JackMa101: For me it worked once for $35 spend, but for another 2 they spent over $35 and I didn't get referral credits. For the one that spend under $35 I also didn't get referral credits. I think they just aren't following through with their agreement.

            • +2

@JackMa101: Can confirm referral system still not working - genuine referrals made but seeing ‘signed up, but haven’t ordered’ status.

              • +3

@[Deactivated]: Confirm for a new customer pick up order. Genuine referral. In app says "Signed up but has not ordered".

    • +1

      Yep, same.

Did you use the same mobile, email, address and/or credit card to sign up a new account?

  • +3

Not getting referral credits, just says "signed up but haven't ordered".

  • do you have to spend before you get the referral bonuses?

  • So just a follow up on this comment I made https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11343476/redir

I made a $8.00 nett purchase last night using these variations and upon checking my referring account I triggered the $30 credit 😁

    • new mobile? as in actual mobile or new mobile number?

      • Oh my bad, mobile number

    • +1

That is because they just fixed/re-enabled referrer credit earning yesterday. It is back to normal as of now.

      • Is it still $20 referee spend or has it been increased?

        • Still the same, back to normal. Guess they just secured additional budget for referrals lol.

  • Can anyone confirm if there are any virtual credit cards working like Revolut/ZIP?

Or do we have to get a brand new fresh real card every time.. (Also how many times can you reuse it?)

    Thanks.

    • Confirm zip works.

      • Cheers, any idea if you can reuse phone numbers?

        • Might get the 3 X $15 won't get the $30 referral. Safer with a new number.

  • +1

Just noticed they've credited referrals made during the outage.
    Listed as [email protected]

  • Is Revolut VCC still working for anyone? Doesn't seem to let me order with it.
