cheap or what! and the Bauhn brand isn't too shabby - I bought the 32" in 2010 for $499 and it has a cracking picture - Bauhn is Aldi's 'premium' brand - saw this in print catalog I grabbed last night - not yet on web?

EDIT: I guess they're yet to add it on if you have it in the catalog. I saw this happen once before. Does anyone know what sort of power usage this thing has? I guess LED is where it's at if you want low power consumption?

Where? 100 or 200 Hz? 3D? Passive glasses?
For that brand and quality, it needs to be under $300 to be a decent deal.

You have got to be joking! Its just a trademark owned by Aldi to badge the cheapest equipment Aldi can buy from different manufacturers. So one model might be great, the next a lemon. Thats not premium.
Plenty of posts on Whirlpool by disgruntled 'Bauhn' owners for no after-sales service.
this doesnt sound great considering last week aldi had a 32" for 269
I feel that there is a lot more better deals out on the market , esp from the ones I've seen posted by some Oz-Bargainers.
42 inch Sonic FHD with 3D only $399 at JB.
Not a good deal…its definitely not a premium brand….any other budget TV is in this price range…Kogan just had a special of 339 delivered for a 42 inch full hd led TV….besides a 39 inch, I have never heard
Bauhn + Aldi tv's of any name = Avoid.
My vote is for "what" :-D
